So, I've been meaning to draw on my white chucks -- just never got around to testing permanent markers on canvas (until now).

AND, since it was 1AM, and I just wasn't getting the mental stimulation I was craving, I decided to f**k up my Rite-Aid slip-ons. And yes, I'm still astounded that those damned shoes are from Rite-Aid.

I designed the Afro-Chick shoe second, so it came out better -- and I obviously like it better, so all the picture pretty much focus on that one.

(I learned that black doesn't bleed as much. :X)

And before anyone makes any obvious comments,
Yes, I'm aware that the purple seriously bled, the colors aren't balanced, that they're two different designs, and beige wasn't the greatest bg color.

It's just a tester. biggrin.gif

Hehe. <3!~ Glad you guys liked them. I heard that you have to paint your shoes w. acrylic paint before markering them up to preserve them. D:~~ Arghhh. Anyone actually drawn on their shoes before?

^ You'd better believe it. When I was in fifth grade, I drew a bunch of bloody, mangled arms and heads sticking out from the bottom of my soles, so it looked like I was stomping on tiny people. I was deemed "mentally unstable" by my teachers and got held back a year before going into middle school, but by God, did I wear my shoes with pride. So I know just how you must feel and what you're going through, as a fellow shoe artist.
