It seems that when people are looking at buying something expensive (or anything for that matter) people have a tendency to ask where it was made. I'll admit I do that sometimes, especially when it's something that'll blow a hole in my pocket.

Does it matter to you where your things are made?

Not in particular, no. But as you stated, if it is really something that'll blow a BIG whole in my pocket, I guess it is best to know all the details first :P

As long as I live in Japan; yes. I want anything and everything, that was made in an Asian country and that costs a fortune in the states.

Well usually when I'm buying an expensive clothing item I tend not to buy the "Made in China" label. I've just had bad experiences with things falling apart easier when they're made there.

Yeah I know. I'll buy just regular clothing with a Made in China label. But if I am going to drop 100+ dollars on a single clothing item I usually will not go for that label.

I think it's funny when I go to Old Navy, because their tags are so big and it goes from Made In one country to another to another. I'm not too picky, as long as it isn't something cheap and not worth it. America imports so much stuff, if I wanted to only buy American made I would have search for it.

I don't have enough money to buy expensive stuff. But if I did I probably wouldn't mind unless there was a clear difference between quality.

I don't care where it's made from, as long as it's worth the money that I'm paying for it, It's a deal and I'm down. I never really asked or look for where it's made, neither.

^ yrrnotelekktric and Steven posted at the same time. So I'm sure Steven meant the one before that.

Who cares where it's made, as long as it's wearable. Why are people so picky these days? But sure, you go to Hollister and that stuff's made in Peru, for goodness sake, selling at 50 bucks.
