I hate it when they put too much milk so that it doesn't even look like bubble tea anymore.

May I join? :]

Name: Christina
Favorite flavor of bubble tea: Grape Milk Tea (aim :P)
First time you had bubble tea: back in elementary school. It was always a pearl iced tea (boba milk tea) that we would get at Sam Woo (a cheap Chinese food place) at the 99 Ranch Market in San Diego. I've had bubble tea before I ever went to an actual boba place!
Store you usually buy from: Tapioca Express because it's cheap. I PREFER to go to TEASTATION whenever I have the chance and the dinero to spend $5-$6 on a drink (slushies and snow bubbles)

Teastation > all other boba places I've been to.

Lollicup sucks where I live. I'm not trying to bash on the entire franchise, its just the one in my city and the one in my niece's city.

That's what they do at the Chinese bakeries in NYC. I never buy it there anymore.

I had bubble tea from Ten Ren yesterday. The bubbles were so good. throb.gif

Adding all the new members now. Sorry for my inactivity. I moved at the end of July and didn't have Internet in my new house till yesterday.

Christina, you're in NY? I've been to 86th Street in Manhattan but have never seen a bakery like that.

Adding y'all.

Why the deprivation, Moni?

I think both exist in California, so make a trip to your neighboring state. xD

Christina: Haha, I thought so. ><; There's nothing remotely boba-like on the Upper East or West Side of Manhattan.

Boba Loca, Quickly, and Tea Station.
Ten Ren sounds like they'd have bomb ramen.

I want to try Cali boba and see if it's any better/different from the kind here. :p

Haha, I don't think Ten Ren serves anything but tea-based concoctions.
