Not really. When CBNews team took over, it was fine, but we probably got only one or two requests coming in per edition and none at all one time. They were answered, but the lack of interest from the community was what really killed Advice Abby.

That is exactly the problem. Many people said they were in support of the idea and requested it, yet the three that I posted are the only e-mails I've gotten. No one has been sending anything in. The person who is the advice person really doesn't matter, since it's anonymous...that wouldn't affect the fact that people simply aren't sending that much in.

I do find it kind of odd, however, that when I finally do get something to post, all of the sudden people are up in arms about my mere existence. One would think that the posts would be a good thing after waiting so long.

The Metal Face doesn't need advice from a teeny-bopper who never lived it. Advice has to be generic for the sake of inexperience. Alice has no personality. Alice is just a screenname that gives blind advice.

Nah.

Doom keeps rhymes like dimes.

people arent just going to want advice from someone they dont even know. it's not like you have the credentials to show these kids that you're capable of giving good advice. part of your job is to advertise yourself, build interest around the forums. post around more in relationships and start practicing giving advice to these kids. then they'll see you actually have something worthwhile to tell them.

The last couple of posts have been somewhat awkward...

The concept of an "Ask____" was always unfamiliar to me. The only reason I could see for people to talk to some anonymous person would be just to poor out without the embarrassment. Personally, I'd think createBlog would be an unlikely place to release all your feelings, but hey.

i feel this way too. when i have a problem, i just don't think "hey i should email a random anonymous person on a design website."

however, i agree with advertising it. i've said this like 7 times now that whoever needs to post in relationships and make themselves known, otherwise it's even more unlikely that someone will think to go to them

i still say, ask toya & jc!

JC,

Who is the better niggerish street prophet; Young Jeezy, the T-R-A-P-S-T...R (whatever that means) or Weezy F Baby (please call him Baby)?

Toya,

How does it feel to be related to me?

weezy is the more talented one out of the two, although his songs suck, i've seen him actually do stuff that hasn't been bad. from what i can tell jeezy just sucks and is an idiot, so i declare him to be more "niggerish"

over all i dislike both of them

JC,

Would you rather listen to Mike Jones- Back Then, chopped and screwed (once), or Britney Spears- Give Me More on repeat for 3 hours?

Agreed, but only if I don't have to watch her performance from the VMAs.

JC,

If Oprah was still young enough, would you impregnate her if you had the opportunity?

of course. i mean my kid would be set up for life as far as money and school. also my high intellect combined with oprahs would make an extremely intelligent little mini jc. i highly recommend that anyone in this situation take advantage of this opportunity. also they might get their pic on "O" magazine. balla
