I honestly don't really care when people stare at me. :) If they mug at me, I mug back. If they "check" me out, I check them back out (if there is something worth checking out, that is), but that's about it. It doesn't make a bit comfortable or paranoid.

i absolutely hate it...our next door neighbor always stares at you, what ever your doing. you can see it at the corner of your eyes and it just freaks me out

Well, it's often quite irritating, but I guess it depends on how bad/consistent it is. I do get a bit paranoid when people stare but I forget about it pretty easily

Or when someone's staring at you and you turn to look at them, they try to move their heads as fast as they can, pretending they were looking somewhere else and not staring at you, but you catch the last few movements of their head moving and you know they were staring at you the whole time.

It's funny, sometimes I just zone out and have a blank or serious look on my face and people think that there's something wrong, but instead I'm totally fine.
