1.) When? Like after a couple dates, or right off the bat after the first date, etc.

2.) How? Go for the subtle "I need to talk to you", walk through the park, or casual, "Hey, you wanna go out with me?" etc.

Ideas please? I'm new to this.

Edit: Say I just hang out with a girl. If I have lunch with her, how do I let her know I want it as a date and not just hanging out? Because I can call a bunch of girls to go eat lunch and they'd be fine with it, because they know I'm not interested.

While brandishing 40 ounces of Olde English malt liquor and driving down a main boulevard in your local ghetto, find a vulnerable young lady waiting at a bus stop. As you take sips of your beverage, be sure not burn yourself with the burning marijuana tightly rolled in the remnants of a White Owl cigar. Without spilling your malt liquor or dropping your poorly concocted blunt, reach across the passenger seat, roll down the passenger side window and demand, "Bitch, get you ass in the car!"

Dude, you're thinking too much into this. Just go with the flow. That's all the advice you need right now. She'll know it's not hanging out when you guys go out to lunch. She's not an idiot. She'll figure it out...Unless she really is an idiot.

Just stop thinking. And do.

You're the same person who says he's a nice guy. Don't tell me you're too nice to go up to a girl and ask her if she wants to catch a movie with you. Girls aren't stupid, they get the hint if you want to be a in a dark place, close to them... and only them. If she says "Hey, how about so and so comes along" Just say no that you want it to be her and you. I'm sure she's not an idiot.

I went to watch a movie with a girl before that I wasn't interested in at all, what I want to know is what makes the difference between hanging out and a date? That's the real question I suppose.

I brought up the nice guy thing because I read a TON of sites saying nice guys come last, and I was worried.

okay here is advice from a girl.

i usually say this to my guy freinds "Get off your lazy ballz and ask the girl out"

"if she turns you down then she dont know what she is missin."

Most girls are old fashion...they expect the guy to ask them out...n if you take forever becuz you are nervous..someone else is gona ask that girl out. "Have some courage...arent you a man...if you are then start acting like one"

and if you take a girl out to lunch, she would probably know, unless she is a dumbass...which happens sometimes...of course if your really good freinds with someone like bff...and you guys go out for lunch they think its because you are freinds...so them if you want more ask her out...n if she dont like you that way...move on its not the end of the world. there are alot of girls that you will like.

haha sry if i was alil rough whistling.gif

How to ask a girl out. Let's see:

I would consider you talk to her for like 1-2 weeks. Ask her out to hang out, doesn't necessarily have to be dates. It could be hanging out with her with other people in a group. But yeah, talk to her more, get to know her. Make her laugh, impress her, make yourself worthy of her. She'll eventually see some good in you, and when you ask her out, she'll say yes because she'll believe that you have potential from the first impression she had on you from the first 1-2 weeks.

Well, maybe when its the end of the day or the period you could ask her if she'd like to grab a bite to eat later. (Casually!)

this is how to ask a girl out:
at approximately 6:45 in the pm, of the 5th day of the 5th month, call her and say "would you like to accompany me on an outing as my date?" she will promptly accept your offer and you both will ride off into the moonlight night.

Be casual. That is the only tip that I have. No girl likes it if you be too formal and actually ask "Do you want to go out with me?" Rephrase it and make it seem like no big deal. Look at her but don't stutter, rub the back of your neck, or anything else that shows you're nervous. But show her that you're interested.

my frined asked his first girl out formely
he took her outside, held her hands, looked down into her eyes, and asked her "Elizabeth *second and last name*, will you accompany me on a formal dining". Everyone said he was an idiot...but it did work
so it depends on the girl

Yeah there are some girls that that will work but most of the time you just have to be casual. That's what has worked best for most of my friends.

ask casualy but also try to be romantic. girls LOVE romances even if the girl you like is a tomboy.

a guy once asked his friend to ask my friend to ask me if i wanted to go with him. it was SO middle school! i said no, stubborn.gif of course......but that really has nothing to do with this topic.... rolleyes.gif
