If I could take my virginity back would I? As a matter of fact I would. Looking back on my sexual histroy, I can definitely say, that I did not have a connection emotionally with any of the girls I had/have sex with.

lost it at 18, well... still 18 now
with the dude? nah we broke up because i pretty much never made an effort to be much of a girlfriend
regret it? nope... it wasn't anything special and i already knew it wouldn't be so no point in assuming it would be the best thing in the world.

...Maybe that has something to do with Adam and Eve being the only two people on the face of the planet. Vicars, churches, witnesses and ceremonies with triangular sandwitches would have been hard to come by.

I'll be hitting the 18+ button - I'm 20 this year.

im not a virgin, but i am by no means a whore. I lost it this year and I know that sex isn't what my boyfriends after. I think if you want to wait, you should but it honestly is your decison whether or not to "do it" and dont do it because of pressure or because you feel like you HAVE to...fall in love first. Its so much better when you love and trust someone.

i don't necessarily feel like waiting till marriage, but finding the right guy is definitely important.

I've hugged my boyfriend and blew an air kiss at him, but I have yet to hold hands with a guy, much less have sex with him.

I'm thirteen. :3

I'm with S-Majere on this one. Not exactly the waiting until marriage, but the fact that it means something. I don't think it should just be something you do because everyone else does. I would definitely regret it if I lost my virginity right now at 15, even if it was with the 'right' person. I mean, what even is the right person when you're fifteen? It's probably that boy/girl that youve been dating for however many months that, in a few years, you probably won't be with anymore.
I'm not criticizing anyone that's lost their virginity, it's just my view.
I'm most certainly waiting. And I know I'm going to be waiting a long time because I want it to be special. Not just something that happened.
Am I making sense?

As for the people who argue the 'try it before you buy it' point, I completely dissagree. A marriage is a partnership where both of you love each other unconditionally.
Sex shouldn't matter. It's sort of just the icing on the cake.

Yes I started school at age 5 instead of 6 (birthday after sept. 1st rule) & I skipped a grade. I did joint college enrollment my senior year. I started summer school in May 2005 right after graduation & I could've graduated this May @ 19yrs if I hadn't transferred & added a 2nd major so now I'll be still on time according to my educational path & graduating Dec 2009 at age 21. And that is possible for anyone who has the drive to do so, thank you.

Virginity is overrated IMO.

Plus first times generally suck. A lot. Especially when it's virgin-on-virgin action. Why would you want your first sexual experience with the person you're going to spend the rest of your life with to be an awful, awkward one?

Think of it as being in training. wink.gif

I personally haven't lost my virginity yet, nor am I saving it. I used to be one of those people who wanted to wait until marriage, before I actually got into a relationship that I became serious about -- not those "flings". Lack of birth control pills and my boyfriend's refusal to use a condom is pretty much the only reason why we haven't done it, though we have done everything else. I don't count that as taking my virginity though. He's pretty cool with waiting it out and not rushing into things, so I respect him for that.
