I’m starting to get pretty sick of Rosie O’Donnell. She needs to just go away and stop lashing out at everyone she doesn’t like.

I am starting to get tired of celebs in general. It's like, they are just like everybody else just with alot of money.

If you didn't give a f**k about celebrities, and spent less time keeping up with whats going on with public personas, then they wouldn't annoy you.

I suppose it's because they receive so much hatred (in some cases). I feel bad for Jessica Simpson and others who get picked on by the entire world. It's like being bullied by the entire population of earth, and that seems kind of hard to handle :/

Gag me: To even be sympathetic to people who can buy their way out of anything.

No homo: Just in case "Gag Me" was taken the wrong way.

Definitely. It's the general public's (and media's) fascination with celebrities that I find annoying, not necessarily the behavior of celebrities. We're ALL annoying in one way or another, but our lives aren't recorded and photographed for everyone to see.

Just remember, we're the ones behind nicknames like "Brangelina". We're the ones that spend far too much money on magazines like People. Generally we fund the exposure of these things so I tend to not begrudge celebrities their little quirks.

Consumers drive the celebrity market.

I hate it when non-celebrities find solace in criticizing celebrities whenever they make one or several mistakes, setting them as another branch of people (which is, in itself, idiotic), as if we're not guilty of mistakes ourselves.

Agreed. People like to pick out flaws in celebrities so they can feel like hot shit. We expect celebrities to be perfect so when they screw up, it's the hot topic of the week AND it's also an ego boost. stubborn.gif

Yeah she can’t seem to keep quiet when she doesn’t like something/things don’t go her way. Going up against Donald Trump? Probably not the greatest idea in the grand scheme of things.

She should try to use her celebrity for more positive things. Oprah, Tyra, Carson from How to Look Good Naked, they each have shows that entertain AND help people in the process… Rosie should take a lesson from them.

I'm more annoyed with the paparazzi (yeah, I can't spell) than anything else. A drunk celebrity could be driving through a neighborhood and someone would be there to take a picture, with total disregard to law. It's messed up. They go around and take pictures of Britney Spears grocery shopping at 2AM. Yeah, only crazy people go shopping for groceries at 2AM, but why were they there taking pictures of her?

I agree she could definitely be doing something better with her fame and money like those other celebs have, and those are definitely two very good examples because Oprah is helping kids and Carson is helping women. People would definitely like her more if she changed her attitude toward helping others. She should hang out with Carson for a day, he’d straighten her up.
