Hi. Check it out.

I know how fake and plastic this looks, but I tried.

Some of the things I attempted to change/retouch:
  • Eyes
    • Eyeliner/eyeshadow/whatever
    • Brightening of the iris
    • Eye color
  • Eyebrow lift
  • Mouth
    • Lip color (subtle)
    • Teeth whitening
  • NOSE JOB (Yeah, this one looks a little weird)
  • Skinnying stuff
    • Cheeks
    • Neck
    • Arm pit area ;]
    • Narrowing arms
    • Lowering shoulders

And I think that's about it, besides the slight skin smoothening and pimple demolishing.

C&C appreciated, especially since this is my first actual retouch. :]

It doesn't look too plastic, Mark. I think it looks good. My favorite part is probably the nose job. thumbsup.gif Keep practicing, and you'll be amazing in no time.

Yes, I really like the nose job. For some reason, I'm not too fond of the way the skin texture looks. But other than that you did a good job!

You should practice retouching on celebrity photos. It's fun. :D

A lot of it is done by morphing parts of the image with the Transform > Warp tool. Then you can use the Smudge tool or the Patch tool to fix up the area and make it look real again.

The Liquify tool can prove pretty useful, too.
