Centering Enite Div Profile Options

Hey guys. Ok, now before I get anyone giving me links to different sites giving codes to center my profile, ive tried them. They seem to not work with myspace pages like mine, which you can view at www.myspace.com/fuzzykit . Now, as the topic title states, I want everything to be in the middle of the page for any resolution.. looks like the guy who made it just made it work for him. My content and such is aligned properly it just needs to be.. scooted over to the middle, if you know what i mean. Like on my monitor , 1680x1050 resolution, its to the left. I'll post the code from the layout i downloaded.. with a few of the things i added on below :b ..

And I see something different with my resolution too. The coding could be so much better than it is...

This could do with being completely recoded; you really are going to have to contact the designer first and ask permission for it to be redesigned via the Createblog Support Forums.

Oki thanks.. and yeah.. it was coded horribly.. I redid a bit of it to make it way more understandable.. And i actually made it able to be centered with some.. well.. it wasn't at all what i expected it to be :b ended up having to align some things negative because SOMETHING in that code, makes it position to the right, and something is taking up a huge space on the left.. no idea what it is but it works now :b on firefox at least..

I would like to know how it is on your resolution now though. :)

Try using position RELATIVE instead of ABSOLUTE.

I have tried it. It doesn't work at all. I have tried many many things.. and I think I've got it the closest to working as its going to unless someone rewrites the whole thing.

Aye. As I've said, you may want to get in contact with the designer (although TBH, parts of the coding are from profile generators anyway!) and put a request to have it recoded in the Requests Thread when it reopens.

If I have enough time over the next few weeks I'd be happy to oblige - though I'd first need to know the position of the original designer!

Heya, yeah it seems to work. But would you do me a huge favor and do whatever it was you did to the code I have now? Its a bit different. Made it a lot easier for me to understand and its perfect on firefox at least. Theres a few parts that don't work nicely in Internet Explorer that you seemed to fix.. <p>I am DONE with my job. Ok look, I have worked one day since the 23rd of December so far. Last week my boss told me to come in one day. When I got there, the shop was closed. So I called Nathan [My boss], and asked if I was working.. he told me no and that I would work the next day. Yeah, right.. I didnt work a day that week. So he tells me "I'll need you like all next week." Yeah, I see that 'like' in there, but it isn't an excuse. You'll see what I'm talking about.. keep reading. Ok so, monday comes, I ask him if I am working. I get a no, but come in tomorrow. So today is tuesday and I go in, and someone else is working. I clock in. Help them clean for about 10 minutes or so. Get ready for the business that we never actually get. Then I am sent home.. What the f**k? What happened to me working? I got a whole 15 minutes work. AWESOME! I do not work tomorrow though I should have been. I supposidly work thursday and friday but we'll see how that turns out. And sunday he wants me to come in so I can help him re-arrange the kitchen we never actually use and the storage so he can throw more shit back there we don't use because, WE DONT GET CUSTOMERS! I want to quit so bad.. so I think I will! :) I'm tired of the bullshit hours, tired of Nathan, not having any sort of real scedual.. just this "come in this day" crap, and my co-worker: Heather [see Dislikes]. She doesn't f**king do her job like she should. Whenever we have a tournament or a LAN, she sits outside on the phone with her disgusting f**king boyfriend or talks with him there, if he decides to come. She will not even get off the phone when she's with a customer. It's rude and I don't understand why Nathan doesnt stand up and say something seeing as how he doesn't have a problem standing up about anything else. Anyway, tomorrow when I go in to pick up my check from some random saturday I worked [which I got shit about by the way, he tried to tell me that I only worked like 1 hour or so] I'm going to let him know I'm planning on quitting and that I'll work through the week [excluding sunday.. I don't feel like helping re-arrange crap], then I'll be gone. Hay peoples! Help me find a job! Hehe, if you're someone near me and know somewhere that needs help and is a REAL job.. let me know. <p>What an eventful, pos day.. Waking up once again without my mate there with me always takes a toll on my morning mood.. Anyway, wake up and have horrible time with my hair, almost get in a wreck on the way to school because the idiot behind me seems to have an attention problem. School.. First things first: Science. Woooo! A lab! Ha.. Of course I get in a group that horseplays and I end up doing the work myself, but whatever. Next period, "OH SHIT! I have a project due!", web mastery. Was pretty fun, seeing as how I never actually do anything in that class. Luckily, turned out our teacher decided to give us another day thanks to a fire-drill and this complete bullshit, bus evacuation. Why thank you new state law. :) Next, history! Yay for movie! Flyboys is a great movie. :b Lunch, no comment. Then the worst class of them all: Computer science. Ugh.. I cannot standing programming any more. I've decided I no longer wish to be a game programmer so I'm switching over to game design. Using an engine to create the world seems much more satisfactory to me.. Looks better than thousands of lines of code too :b So now I throw out my plans to move to Austin (Texas) and go to DeVry. Too bad too, going into programming school and having NCSoft basicly down the street would be very helpful. Austin isn't too far from home either.. Less traveling for me and my mate when I move from home to go to college. Hopefully things work out. I'm looking at new colleges now and thinking about either ITT Tech or maybe Westwood in Colorado, so if anyone has any information about either of those or knows any awesome game design schools please let me know.. <p><br />Woo, after hours of slaving over horribly written html code, I've finally managed it make it center properly! [On Firefox at least.. If you use Internet Explorer, seriously consider switching over.] If you're a Internet Explorer user you may spot a few misplaced links & some bugs. I'm not going to even try to fix it unless it keeps you from being able to navigate my page. If that's the case, let me know and I will do my best. <p>I am DONE with my job. Ok look, I have worked one day since the 23rd of December so far. Last week my boss told me to come in one day. When I got there, the shop was closed. So I called Nathan [My boss], and asked if I was working.. he told me no and that I would work the next day. Yeah, right.. I didnt work a day that week. So he tells me "I'll need you like all next week." Yeah, I see that 'like' in there, but it isn't an excuse. You'll see what I'm talking about.. keep reading. Ok so, monday comes, I ask him if I am working. I get a no, but come in tomorrow. So today is tuesday and I go in, and someone else is working. I clock in. Help them clean for about 10 minutes or so. Get ready for the business that we never actually get. Then I am sent home.. What the f**k? What happened to me working? I got a whole 15 minutes work. AWESOME! I do not work tomorrow though I should have been. I supposidly work thursday and friday but we'll see how that turns out. And sunday he wants me to come in so I can help him re-arrange the kitchen we never actually use and the storage so he can throw more shit back there we don't use because, WE DONT GET CUSTOMERS! I want to quit so bad.. so I think I will! :) I'm tired of the bullshit hours, tired of Nathan, not having any sort of real scedual.. just this "come in this day" crap, and my co-worker: Heather [see Dislikes]. She doesn't f**king do her job like she should. Whenever we have a tournament or a LAN, she sits outside on the phone with her disgusting f**king boyfriend or talks with him there, if he decides to come. She will not even get off the phone when she's with a customer. It's rude and I don't understand why Nathan doesnt stand up and say something seeing as how he doesn't have a problem standing up about anything else. Anyway, tomorrow when I go in to pick up my check from some random saturday I worked [which I got shit about by the way, he tried to tell me that I only worked like 1 hour or so] I'm going to let him know I'm planning on quitting and that I'll work through the week [excluding sunday.. I don't feel like helping re-arrange crap], then I'll be gone. Hay peoples! Help me find a job! Hehe, if you're someone near me and know somewhere that needs help and is a REAL job.. let me know. Places I will not work: Subway, McDonalds :b I'm trying to stay away from Brookshire Brothers seeing as how I have applied there several times and havent gotten a single call or anything back from there. Guess they're not interested. If anyone has connections with Pizza Shack, try to send in a good word for me, I'd LOVE to be a waiter there. Alright.. think I'm done ranting for today. <p>What an eventful, pos day.. Waking up once again without my mate there with me always takes a toll on my morning mood.. Anyway, wake up and have horrible time with my hair, almost get in a wreck on the way to school because the idiot behind me seems to have an attention problem. School.. First things first: Science. Woooo! A lab! Ha.. Of course I get in a group that horseplays and I end up doing the work myself, but whatever. Next period, "OH SHIT! I have a project due!", web mastery. Was pretty fun, seeing as how I never actually do anything in that class. Luckily, turned out our teacher decided to give us another day thanks to a fire-drill and this complete bullshit, bus evacuation. Why thank you new state law. :) Next, history! Yay for movie! Flyboys is a great movie. :b Lunch, no comment. Then the worst class of them all: Computer science. Ugh.. I cannot standing programming any more. I've decided I no longer wish to be a game programmer so I'm switching over to game design. Using an engine to create the world seems much more satisfactory to me.. Looks better than thousands of lines of code too :b So now I throw out my plans to move to Austin (Texas) and go to DeVry. Too bad too, going into programming school and having NCSoft basicly down the street would be very helpful. Austin isn't too far from home either.. Less traveling for me and my mate when I move from home to go to college. Hopefully things work out. I'm looking at new colleges now and thinking about either ITT Tech or maybe Westwood in Colorado, so if anyone has any information about either of those or knows any awesome game design schools please let me know.. <p><br />Woo, after hours of slaving over horribly written html code, I've finally managed it make it center properly! [On Firefox at least.. If you use Internet Explorer, seriously consider switching over.] If you're a Internet Explorer user you may spot a few misplaced links & some bugs. I'm not going to even try to fix it unless it keeps you from being able to navigate my page. If that's the case, let me know and I will do my best. Anywho, now that that is out of the way, I can start actually using this! So keep an eye out; I'll try to post everyday. I'm looking for 'educated' friends that like to chat and don't mind speaking out about what I post from day to day.
