I generally don't let people borrow a lot of my stuff because I've had a few incidents which totally turned me off to doing such generous acts. I remember my friend wanted to borrow a helmet but he didn't give it back when I asked and that's what turned me off to borrowing. I eventually got my helmet back, though.

i don't mind letting people i know borrow stuffs. But i hate it when people ask me for things that are personal. Like watches, clothes, and such.

And cds or dvds, i hate it when i lend it out and then it comes backs worse than they are. Cases are missing and crap.

I take care of other's people stuffs like they're gold, and they take care of mine like shit.

If I trust you I will let you borrow anything.
If not, I will try to do something to accommodate you. If you want a shirt I will give you one I don't like so much, if you want a cd I will just burn it for you, etc.

I usually don't care since people don't borrow my things that often and when they do, it's usually a good friend that I trust that does. But then I acquired a roommate... she uses my water boiler a few times a day, "borrows" coffee which you can't really borrow, borrows my tweezers all the time, borrows books, notes, homework, etc. etc. etc.... it gets so annoying! And I still haven't found a better way to say "bitch, no." I mean, I love her and all, but there's a line that has to be drawn.

The thing that annoys me the most is when people borrow my things, and end up getting in trouble with it.

I don't play that shit. What's mine is mine and what's yours is yours. If I give someone something, I don't want it back. I'm giving it to them out of being nice.

I am going to start doing this. I think I am too much of a yes man when it comes to just giving shit, especially money.

Haha, this is going to sound so nerdy but in sophomore year, I borrowed my friend's TI-83 and started playing games with it in Pre-Calc because it was so boring... and it got taken up. And since it said her name on it my teacher wouldn't give it to me so my friend had to go all the way to the teacher's room to ask for it back.

Okay, so it's not that bad, but it's still funny.

No!

Nothing even approaches the level of awesomeness and satisfaction in a TI-83/84 calculator game. lol.

I only let my very good friends borrow stuff because I know they'll actually give it back. Everyone else is a NO NO!
