Between the Lions scared me. Stupid puppets.
But Reading Rainbow was one of my favorite shows. I still remember the whole song! And I loved that black dude who was on Star Trek too... I forgot his name. Lavar? o_O

Me too. The Kratt brothers were pretty cool. I can't remember which one I liked more... Does anyone know what they do now?

My little bro and I used to make jokes about how it sounded like they were saying "Zaboomafoo! And the Crap brothers!"

And I never knew that was the same guy that was in Star Trek.

AHHH ZAMBOOMAFOO. I remember that show. (x The brothers were kind of funny messing around with the animals. lol.

I also liked Between The Lions back then, as well as Reading Rainbow. Levar was at the family show awards thing (on the CW), wow... he's a lot older now since i havent seen him for a few years on TV.

Yeah...

That was one of the first attempts to integrate Spanish into children's programming, no? I forget if the kids were even Spanish.

They're going to take over.

Lol, I used to watch Arthur when I was really little. I'd always come home after school and watch it... and for some reason I remember always drinking orange soda. I think I got that from the show.

Occasionally, we'll watch some of their documentaries in class. Like the Blue Eye/Brown Eye experiment that third grade teacher did in 1970 and some Vietnam documentaries.

I always looked forward to the segments mid-show about the kids and what they do.
