That said, though, I've always been taught to stand on my own two feet. A lot of my family members have been married to real assholes that have put them in debt, etc. I don't care whether the person I marry is rich or poor because I know that whatever happens, I'll be secure and still come out standing.

I'm really sick of this BS and I'm not a gold digger. I was once married to a Pharmacist who was 8 yrs older than who was getting his PH.D. My parents made me divorce him because he didn't have a "JOB" he was a student. His family was still supporting him and he was 27 at the time.
