adobe photoshop fonts

all right.. ii have a little problem... when u download the adobe photoshop fonts... its suppose to show up when u extract it all... but for me.. it doesnt show nothing.. not even the font is on there.... ii know ii did it right and stuff.. but why isnt it there... help!

There are specifically Photoshop fonts? If you have installed fonts correctly, any fonts at all, they should be in Photoshop and whatever programs uses fonts after you open them up again.

Try going to that folder and opening up as to "install" it, officially. The C:\Windows\Fonts folder and just open the folder, then close the window, and try opening Photoshop to see if it works.

If for some reason that doesn't work, you can install them a different way. (Extracting them right into the fonts folder never works for me).

Go to the Control Panel, then click on "Fonts". Then, under "File", press "Install New Font" and browse for it. biggrin.gif

OR, once you've downloaded the font and extracted the font file, you can copy the font file(s) and PASTE it in the Fonts Folder.

That is typically what I do and I have never had any problems.

okay.. ii done that... but when u try to open it on the adobe photoshop... it would be a complete blank...

Did you try restarting Photoshop, or even your computer? That might help.

Have you had any success yet? I've never tried it any other way other than the method Alvin mentioned.

no success... my computers purdy new... ii jus dont know why its not accpeting it...
