Nah, its necessary. Maybe this will be the beginning of an American Revolution where people make better decisions, and they don't rely on fictional characters as role models. Maybe muthaf**kas will start reading books.

Or not.

Perhaps I could land a writing gig, lol.

Golden Globs, "lol".

I heard about this on the radio this morning. Somehow I don't think many people will be impressed with the awards being given out at a press conference...

I was thinking, "Wow, those must be some expensive golden globs!" wink.gif

I think it's understandable. At least we can all see that without writer's, general entertainment would be dead. They really made their point across and they'll probably get paid for their electronic works.

You know, I heard this wacky rumour a while back that some books have fictional characters in them...

Eh, I think it's a pretty cool sign of solidarity myself, and I never watch the ceremony anyway. Opulent and dull.

This is why I love Sarah. XD

Getting out of hand? How would you feel if you weren't given a fair share for something YOU pretty much are behind? Personally, I wouldn't like it one bit.

So good for the actors and such. GOOD FOR THEM.

I wish people would stop thinking of their own petty shit and see that this is remarkable and needed. DEAL WITH YOUR PRECIOUS SHOWS NOT BEING ON.

DEALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.

LAWLZ

I totally agree with you. I think people will be very upset about this and there might be some serious action taken because of this. Like I said in the other forum, THANK GOD FOR TV LAND!

I was thrilled when I heard about this. It's great that actors and actresses are sticking by the writers.

I fixed the title for you. :)

I don't watch that awards show, so I'm not affected, but sometimes I can't believe how far the writers' strike has reached..

Amen. Frankly, I'd like to believe they're saving us from that torturous awful show. I'd rather watch reruns!

I have a confession to make... I don't watch the Golden Globes. Good for the writers, though. I wonder how long this will go on for.
