i like them, except none of them have that great quality, sorry. but if you could manage to make the edges smoother and finer, they would be pretty cool =]

Real iPod ad's aren't complete sihouettes.
Of course, you could make your credit a bit smaller so it doesn't take away from the picture (transparent font with a slight bevel and border would work).
Overall, they're pretty nice. You've done well for yor first few tries!

I agree - the image quality of all of them is definitely not good. I would suggest learning the pen tool, since it makes for much clearer and crisp edges, but that can take a while to learn, especially for starters. Did you use the magic wand tool to extract the subjects? As much as possible, try to stay away from that - if you did use it - and extract them manually, using something like the eraser tool.

And yes. They need iPods. sad.gif

ill try using the pen tool the next time i do this then thanks!
well what i do to extract the subjects is first i erase the background, with the background eraser, then new layer and fill it with the color i want, then find the parts of the background i missed and erase that, then i touch up the edges with the erasers as best as i can, then use the rectangle selecter thing, then select the subject then i use the magic wand to select the subject then fill it with black, im not really sure how else i can do it
i was going to put ipods in there but i have NO CLUE how to

i had a go at doing a "Yuna" one which i dont think turned out very well
i just copied the ipod from the "tifa" one
which i guess is sorta cheating
the ipod was the best part haha
