there is a whole section on html on this site. its called Xanga Scripts.

THere's also xanga skins, which is CSS and HTML coding put together into a skin. Stick with it a few weeks, you'll get the hang of it. Its actually pretty logical.

just start playing around with html
if you dont know it, learn it before you go around and just pluck random html and place it in your xanga (or any site for that matter). learn css as well; its invaluable.
after you actually know these two languages (and javascript doesnt hurt! but itll take a while to learn), start playing around and trying out different things. personally, i draw out my designs and everything by hand first then make the graphics and finally put it all together through html.

hmm, but most people dont have time to do stuff like this so just download a skin if you just want a cool site quick

theres sites on xanga that are made specifically to help you on html. try html_index. you could try browsing the web to learn more about html as well.

cyphervi is right you should learn html and css, play around a bit with the codes on xanga skins and look at xanga scripts.
