I have compiled the top 100 songs of 2007 according to me. I will be posting them 5 at a time. Here are the clues for 100-96:

-Controversy over racy photos.
-Had a personal tragedy last month.
-Disney superstar
-Former Girl and Boy Band members
-Famous for their alternative music.

100. Say Ok-Vanessa Hudgens

This was an interesting year for Vanessa. She starred in the most watched basic cable show in history, and then got into some hot water with her racy nude photos. "Say Ok", is a great song and she proves that she can breakaway from the Disney mold and be successful.

99. Good Life-Kanye West & T-Pain

Over the last two months, Kanye West has been through a lot. His album debuted at #1, selling nearly 1 million copies, and then his mother dies tragically. This song is a great example of artistry and the video for it is amazing.

98. Life's What You make It-Miley Cyrus

Let's face facts. Hannah Montana is like the Beatles of our generation. Her concert tickets are going for up to $2000 a piece and her albums have sold about 6 million in the US. This song is a great one, and I hope that she can have a successful career after Hannah Montana ends.

97. Until The End of Time-Justin Timberlake & Beyonce

It made sense to put two of the biggest music superstars together for a duet. They both show off the reason why they aren't in a boy/girl band anymore and are on their own. They are going to keep getting bigger as the years go on.

No Picture
96. How Far We've Come-Matchbox 20

This song is very haunting, but it's effective as its the first single from Matchbox 20's newest album. The video shows how we are changing everyday and that change is a good thing. It's great to see Rob Thomas back with his bandmates again.

Hints for 95-91:

-The hottest collaboration ever.
-A strange name for a song.
-A Comeback after a suicide in the family.
-The highest debuting country single ever.
-A comeback after a divorce.

95. Beautiful Liar-Beyonce & Shakira

Wow. This was the hottest collaboration of the year, for sure. Those two women are just so incredible, they are extremely hot, and they are talented as heck. This was amazing, for me.

94. Bed-J.Holliday

This was an odd title. I first thought he was singing about a bed, but the song is more than that. I've never heard of him before this, but now I can't wait to see what he can do next.

93. Watching Airplanes-Gary Allan

I'm sure that most of you don't know who he is, because most people don't listen to country, but this man has been through the rain and back. His wife committed suicide and he went into hiding, and now has reemerged stronger than ever. His vocals on this song are amazing, and I think this tragedy is going to make him even stronger.

92. More Than a Memory-Garth Brooks

He is, without a doubt, the biggest country music star of our generation. He has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and even though he has "retired", he reemerged in 2007 with this song, which debuted at #1 on the Hot Country Songs chart, and he is the first person to debut at #1. His career is going to get big again, and this is proof.

91. As If-Sara Evans

You may remember her from Dancing with The Stars, but in the past year, she divorced her long-time husband and has decided to raise her children alone and now this song is showing that she is back in the race and nothing is going to stop her.

Hints 90-86:

-Was a mentor on American Idol 6.
-The hottest American Idol contestant ever.
-He beatboxed his way to the top.
-She has been in trouble with the police.
-He is country music's newest superstar.

- I'm guessing, since there are many opinions. Carrie Underwood.
- Pharrell? Justin Timberlake? I dunno.
- Oh jeeze. Britney Spears?

90. How I Feel-Martina McBride

2007 was a breakout year for Martina McBride. She released her newest album in the spring and appeared as a mentor on American Idol. Now, she's back in the game as a country superstar. The coming years will be filled with nothing but success from her. This song is a great one, and it says that you can feel good about anything, and it even appeared in a crest toothpaste commerical.

89. Love Story-Katharine McPhee

She is, without a doubt, the most beautiful American Idol contestant ever. Her album didn't sell as well as people thought, but she still is great, and the video for this song is very hot.

88. Break Anotha-Blake Lewis

American Idol season 6 was very interesting. No one expected Jordin and Blake to be in the end, but this song is so different from anything that any idol contestant has put out. His songs are fun to dance to, and he is just brilliant at beatboxing.

87. Rehab-Amy Winehouse

2007 was an interesting year for Amy Winehouse. Her debut single, "Rehab", hit the top 10, and then she actually went to rehab. She was nominated for 6 Grammys in 2007, and now she is in trouble with the law. This song is unique and different, but I think she'll bounce back eventually.

86. Rodney Atkins-These Are My People

A few years ago, Rodney Atkins was an unknown country artist, but in 2006-2007, he has graduated to A-list country star with 3 consecutive #1 singles on the country charts. His most famous song, "Watching You", features him and his son. He is going to keep getting bigger, because his 4th single is climbing the charts as we speak.

Hints 85-81:

-Member rumored to be dating Miley Cyrus.
-Video was very popular on iTunes.
-Used to sing Gospel music.
-Contestant on American Idol season 2.
-Had a fight with record producers over 3rd album.

85. S.O.S.-Jonas Brothers

I was surprised that they were actually as popular as they were. I guess all the Disney exposure worked. This is a great song, and a great video as well.

84. 1,2,3,4-Feist

This was an odd year for music. This song is one of the reasons why it was. This song is so unique that I actually like it, and the video is nothing short of amazing. I can't wait to see what other unique things come out from them.

83. Firecracker-Josh Turner

I've always liked his music, and I'm glad that he's not doing the gospel thing that he did in the beginning of his career. He has a huge future ahead of him.

82. Nothin Like The Summer-Carmen Rasmusen

I'm sure everyone is wondering who this is. She is the 6th place finisher from American Idol 2 and her new single is a great country tune. It didn't get much support, but I still like it.

81. Sober-Kelly Clarkson

It hurts to put this song here, but ever since the spring of this year, Kelly Clarkson has been in the news, and for the wrong reasons. Her 3rd album, My December was not well-recieved with RCA executives or the public, as it is her worst selling album to date, selling only about 725,000 copies. I hope she comes back and proves why she won.

Hints on 80-76:

-Sang by a Country star at an American Idol show.
-Song about bugs.
-Has a twin brother.
-A english rose.
-She's not in Las Vegas anymore.

80. I'll Stand By You-Carrie Underwood

American Idol launched the first ever Idol Gives Back in April 2007. One of the most memorable performances was this one by Carrie Underwood. The public obviously liked it, because it debuted at #6 the next week on the hot 100. Her career has exploded and I can't wait to see what happens next on her journey.

79. Ticks-Brad Paisley

Brad's newest album, 5th Gear, was released earlier this year. He is back and he is challenging Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban as the top male vocalist. He even won the CMA award for Male Vocalist in 2007 after 7 nominations. This song is so fun to listen to, and is a country radio favorite.

78. A Different World-Bucky Covington

I was not a favorite of his on American Idol, but since he left the show and released his debut album, he has gotten better, and I actually like his voice now.

77. Smile-Lily Allen

This girl dares to be different. I like different and this song is so good at showing that not just the hip-hop stuff is good music. I can't wait to hear her music in the future.

76. Taking Chances-Celine Dion

I never thought that Celine Dion would be back in the business. I assumed that she would just raise her son, but I was wrong. She came back with her newest album, and this song, which is used in promos for The Biggest Loser. This song is a great uplifting song and I love it.

Hints for 75-71:
-A famous husband and wife.
-The youngest Grammy winner for Best New Artist.
-Canadian Superstar.
-Famous Adult Contemporary band.
-Video popular on Vh1.

I like songs # 99, 97, 95, and 94.

Soulja Boy gotta be in the top 5. Dance took the nation by storm.

Stronger by Kanye West is probably pretty high up there too.

75. I Need You-Tim McGraw & Faith Hill

Meet the king and queen of country music. Ever since they got married in 1996, they have been inseparable, and they keep making amazing duets together and this is no exception. Simply amazing.

74. Nothin Better To Do-LeAnn Rimes

Ever since she returned to the music scene in 2005, LeAnn Rimes has grown so much as a singer and a performer. She just released her newest album and this single reached the top 15 of the country charts.

73. Say It Right-Nelly Furtado

I've never really heard of Nelly Furtado until Promicious Girl exploded on the radio. This song, which featured Timbaland, was her 2nd #1 from her latest album. She is amazing and I can't wait for new music.

72. First Time-Lifehouse

I never paid attention to this band until You and Me came out. Their newest album is a great effort and their newest single has made me want to like them more.

71. Fidelity-Regina Spektor

This video recieved so much play on Vh1. Even though the single never took off like the video, the chorus is very infectious and you could see yourself singing it all over.

Hints for 70-66:
-Nominated 7 times for the CMA for Male Vocalist.
-Disney Phenomenon.
-Broke Kelly Clarkson's record.
-The most well-known male country singer.
-Famous for playing the part of a spoiled brat in 2 movies.

70. Online-Brad Paisley

This is his 2nd appearance. His songs in the past year have been some of his best. He's an example of how talent gets better with age. His down-to-earth demeanor makes him even more likeable, and he is going to continue on with his career for many years.

69. You Are The Music In Me-High School Musical 2 Cast

This is going to be a O.o for a lot of people, but HSM is an amazing series of movies and the 2nd album is so much better than the first and the voices have matured, and its just a great song.

68. Makes Me Wonder-Maroon 5

This song is great. It broke Kelly Clarkson's record of biggest jump to #1 when it went from 64 to 1 in one week. The song proved that Maroon 5 is here to stay.

67. Don't Blink-Kenny Chesney

I will admit, that Kenny Chesney is a little bit overstayed his welcome. He constantly puts out music and he is played more than any other artist on country radio, but the guy has talent and this song is one of his best.

66. He Said, She Said-Ashley Tisdale

This is gonna be another O.o moment, but this song is very catchy and she reminds me of Hilary Duff and I think with HSM, she is here to stay in the entertainment industry.

Hints for 65-61:

-John Travolta movie.
-Has the best selling American Idol album ever.
-A color.
-The 3rd #1 country single for this artist.
-Has an extra o in its name.
