my account was phished
i changed my password and the hacker changed it again i can't sign in and the contact email listed is no longer even a website so i can't retrieve the password. please help!!! I DO NOT WANT THE PROFILE REMOVED how can i prevent this in the future? thank you for your time. please reply to this address asphyxation676_676@yahoo.com |

More than likely you'll have to make a new profile. The next time that you change your e-mail address, you should update it on your Myspace Account and probably shouldn't add random people you don't know.

also you can set your myspace to friends only so the possibility of being hacked is lowered. and yeah, adding random people as friends is never okay. basically what karmakiller said.

Being hacked on Myspace is very unlikely - being phished is. Never click strange looking links or reply to comments or messages that look out-of character for whomever sent them.
What you can do is to get in touch with Myspace Support - provide details of your old email address, site URL and password. Then report that your site has been hijacked and await a response from Myspace. |

oh yeah, be patient when you're waiting for a response :) i had problems too (not about this) and they gave me a response like...a month later. sometimes their response doesn't even solve my problems.

okay so this was a question that i answered a billion times but here you go :]
1. if one of those spam links take you to a page where it says opps! you must be logge in to do that then check your URL bar and if it dosent say myspace.com them dont out ur login info. its a fake myspace page made by spammer. instead try going to myspace.com again and your profile should be logged in |
