See, I think Smallville is the show that should have been canceled instead of being allowed to keep going and going and going. Understand though that I am a total nerd with anything comic book related and that show just kills me with it's moronic and gross misuse of continuity. Certain liberties are fine and I realize that there are markets being targeted (*cough* Lana sucks sucks SUCKS!*) but how about a little homage and hell, respect to the original intent other than using the same character and location names.

PS, Pete is a white guy, Lana is a red head, Lois was never involved with Clark before Metropolis, Chloe didn't exist and Clark ALWAYS wore glasses. And so on.

Yep, the comedian dude. XD I haven't been keeping up with the show though, so I'm not sure what the status is.

And of course not everyone reads the books. That's why (in part) the shows/movies like it are able to have some success. I did say that I was a total nerd in my geeked out opinions on these things though. ;)

To add to my earlier list:

Twin Peaks, Firefly, Angel

Samurai Jack. I LOVE that cartoon. I know that Genndy Tartakovsky is famous for Dexter's Laboratory (which is definitely enjoyable), but I think that Samurai Jack is far superior.

Ahh I missed Angel.

I'm curious, does anyone know what happened to the cartoon on Nicktoons or Nickelodeon (either one), "My Life As A Teenage Robot"?

I remember when I first saw this a long time ago, and I liked it. I'm pretty sure I saw most of the episodes but what happened to it? I never seen new episodes anymore.

Today I just came across with one of the episodes, and it's old. I'm guessing it was cancelled?
