no one's answered your boat question. they're called gondola rides. i learned from mario party 7 =]

GOD, THANK YOU.

I owe you one. It was killing me, and I had searched Google for all of the terms but I couldn't figure it out. I'm also considering Switzerland, now. Paris is a definite for me.

You've all been really helpful.

I've been to London twice so far (hopefully more in the future) and I am in looooove with it. I know it's not "exotic" or anything, but London is amazing.

I mentioned the gondola ride, but I didn't think you were talking about those... ? Gondolas don't have pedals. A gondolier steers the boat (and oftentimes even sings) while you sit there. It's really romantic :)

DAMNIT.

I haven't searched on Google yet, the Gondola rides. Are we on the same page about the pedaling, you know, with your feet as if it's a bicycle?

YES. "Paddling." Stupid terms. I searched on Google, and that's it. Brings back memories. Okay, I owe you one.

Oh, I didn't think it was a European thing, it just came to mind and I didn't want to make separate topics.

Paddle-boating is awesome, or at least, the way I remember it. It looks pretty gaytastic on Google Images, though.

American "cuisine" is a joke. I wouldn't invite any foreigner to try luxurious, fried, instant American meals.

WTF, no! Your Red Lobsters are holy places.

I live in a little village in the Midlands. Lots of green - I don't see the appeal of London at all. Truth be told, that place is scary!

Visit England. We have tea, scones, nectar points and lots of rain.

You also have strawberries and cream and my absolute favorite, WIMBLEDON.

Out of all the places I've been (Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy) - Germany is by far my favorite. Specifically, Bavaria. Be sure not to miss Munich, but travel to the south into Garmisch... its picture perfect.

Germany is a beautiful country, but I found the people to be extremely unfriendly when I visited Boppard a few years ago.
