why do celebrities insist on driving under the influence? you'd think they'd learn after being put in jail.
 some famous examples: paris, mischa, lindsey, .......... it's just not smart. they're putting other ppl in danger as well as themselves. what do u think about it?

yea, i guess ur right. it's just not celebrities; it's everybody. i just don't see the point in drinking too much, that's just my pov.

People do it because either their too drunk to realize they shouldn't be, or because they're just silly.

Better question: why do people insist on drinking until they can't talk coherently and stumble around like a jerk-off? And how could one enjoy a hangover or wondering what idiotic thing they did under the influence?

It's not just celebs, there are alot of normal people that drink and drive because they thought they could handle it. People make mistakes.

Many people drink and drive and put other people in danger. I think it's because #1 they think that they are invincible or #2 they just don't care about themselves or anyone else. Either way its irresponsible and the consequences need to be greater not only for celebrities but for everyone.

Sometimes it is just for the publicity you know. They do whatever makes them end up on the front page of the tabloids or magazines. But some people just can't think right after they drink and they just drive.
