there's this guy and i want to make things happen before winter break which is starting next weekend. i don't know what to say though. we only talk at school and stuff. what do i say?! also we've only known each other for a few weeks, and i don't want to seem like a weirdo. and ALSO, if he says no then wtf, it's gonna be sooo awkward and blahh. how do i do it and would you think its weird to be asked out by a girl?

I don't think that's really weird..it's happened to me once and it was actually kind of nice not having to put myself out there for a change.
As for how to do it...you just do it lol, wait for him to ask you out somewhere and make a move so it's extremely obvious you want to be with him, or ask him out...and do the same, or you could go the more direct approach and ask him at school...but make sure you do it in person either way. |

ye it weirdd.. if you aint 6-7 in looks.. dont movee first.. let the guy do the asking n stuff..
if you a 6-7 and i like you.. but you happen to move first.. i'll be flatter.. but if you're 4-5 and move first.. i'll be flatter but dont really care much.. |

Listen, if you like someone, let them know - it shouldn't be awkward. I've had plenty of girls ask me out and I've never really treated them any differently because of it - I just politely declined (or accepted) and moved on from there. In either case, it's almost always a flattering experience. Stroke the guys' ego you like - big deal. You're young anyways, you have your entire life to be rejected - start early or something like it. Relax. |

I say go for it girly. First of all, waiting around and waiting for something to happen is so painful - isn't it? Second of all, I have a twin brother. He helps me out a lot when I don't know what to do about a guy. Some guys like the hard to get play, but I'm pretty sure 85% of them don't. My brother said he just takes it as a "I don't like you". Sometimes guys wait around just as much as girls do, and then nothing happens. So ask him to hang out sometime. If he says no, he's probably a loser ;)

Why not? It just means she's confident enough to be assertive and if it's you she wants, what could be more flattering? Keeping it real. You just have to remind yourself that she's got some game and the guy's got to show her wassup. This one girl asked me out and we dated for almost 2 years back then and she's one of my closest friends to this day even though she's busy with a child of her own.

I know this topic is probably just for guys to reply to but... I don't see anything wrong with a girl asking a guy out. As far as I know, most guys like the assertiveness and confidence that comes with a girl making the first move.

It depends. When I was younger, the first few times I got asked out I really shocked and didn't know what to do really and the whole conversation got uncomfortable to the point that both of us are shy to talk to each other the following days. She would have been better of she talked to me first casually.
If the guy looks like he's socially inclined then he probably would be much relaxed and won't get uncomfortable if you ask him out, but he would be much harder to actually keep because he has a lot of choices with women. |
