I love America!!! I love that I have the freedom to talk about Jesus Christ and say Merry Christmas and that America was founded on Christian values and Christianity. I hate the fact that so many who hate america are also attacking it's Christian values and everything Christian. If it were really unconstitutional to talk about God and have biblical values in the public, then don't you think that people would have caught on before 200 years after the country was founded? Think about it. That's the way it's been from the beginning, yet we are to believe that now, all of the sudden it's unconstitutional to exercise our constitutional rights of free speech and religion.

Don't say happy holidays to me, say MERRY CHRISTMAS. If I see a Jew, I will wish him a happy chaunikkah, or however you spell it. I don't care. It's their right to celebrate it. I can't believe that people are now trying to take the Christmas out of Christmas, but the stores sure still want our money for the Christmas shopping now don't they.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND GOD (the Christian God) BLESS AMERICA!!!

why do u hate americans?

why do some people hate blacks? why do some hate asians?
the majority of the reason i hate americans is because a lot of them are greedy little...THINGS, wrapped up in all the fads.

Yes, why? Apparently money > your desires. If you would go back in a heart beat, go back as soon as you can. Money shouldn't determine your happiness. Go back to Scotland, we don't want you.

money? who said anything about money? money is nothing to me-i've grown up without it, and i'll most likely continue to live without it, unless i take that future that has been handed to me, which requires a lot of money, and once again, i don't have that money-meaning i'm not going to just run away to live in a gutter somewhere in the UK and ruin any chances of being happy in my future. i do plan on getting away as soon as i can [meaning once i finish school, if i even have money to go to college], but until then: i'm 14-i have no option.

You're 14. I hate to make these judgments, but how do you know you hate America? Do you listen to everything mommy and daddy say? Do you watch the news? If so, which station? Do you know what the rest of the world is like? Do you realize how lucky Americans are?

in my experience people hate whole races for idiotic reasons. so u know, that doesn't say that much to me. i think hating a whole nation full of people is basically the same as hating a whole race. it doesn't really make any sense to me. i don't like little fads either, unfortunetely for u though i happen to think teenagers unjustified hate of America is one of those little fads. so i guess i'm with steven until u can give a real reason for hating Americans. also, where are u going to go that greedy people don't exist? i don't understand.

Americans are really lucky.
But I don't think that has to do with the way rockitstudios feels about america. I dont really like america. I understand we're lucky and that we're practically the richest country in the world. But that still doesn't stop us from being assholes[to one another and to different countries]. That still doesn't make us a great country. I mean sure, we are a pretty damn great country. But I think we could be better. I think we could do alittle more for the world and to promote better things. But instead we go on with our self-centered lazy lives.

I think it's incredibly retarded how people feel "ignored" and "neglected" even when everything around you in America is built for your convenience. I don't know what there is to hate? America has its own issues, but it is nothing compared to what other countries have to deal with. A lot of people complain about the bureaucracy, but I wonder how much all of it affects you all in your daily life, anyway? If you're on a forum talking about it means that you have internet access which means that you're already better off than more than half of the world.

Obese people get checks and support from the government with a doctor's note. Almost every food in America is microwavable and quick; other countries have to actually spend time to cook their food. Almost every American has cars and multiple television sets. There is special education for those who are not as capable. There are jobs abound for everyone. There are so many homeless shelters, organizations to help others, etc. There are many, many support groups for different people around the country.

So, I have no idea what there is to hate that also affects you every day.

this stuff makes no sense in the same way what rockitstudios says makes no sense. have u been somewhere that there were no assholes? are u saying people are assholes because they are american? i don't get it. people are assholes, because they are, not just because they are american.

"we could still be better"
ok...who couldn't? what country couldn't somehow be better? people in other countries go about self-centered lazy lives too. not all of them, but not all of them are like that here either.

have u even been out of the country? going back to what steven said, what are u even comparing this to? some imaginary country in ur head that's perfect? that's all i can figure out.

if u don't like ur country because some people are lazy and some people are assholes, then i'd say u're pretty damn lucky. i don't get why those things make u not like america. lazy people and assholes are all over the world, so if that's the reason u hate a country, i think u should hate every country in the world that contains any of those people.

Do you realize how much the rest of the world [thinks] hates us? I mean I'm all for being nice to others, but not if they're going to hate us and be unappreciative. You also talk about how we have self-centered lazy lives. A lot of Americans are hard workers who aren't as self-centered as you may think. A lot of Americans hold the door when I walk by, say good morning when I pass by, or watch out for others and make sure they don't walk into them. Sure a lot of Americans are fat, but that's because they can afford the food and are lucky (or they're just lardasses). There's so much so right about America that no one ever points out. There's plenty wrong that can be improved and that always sticks out way more than the positive.

But weren't you pointing out that no one cares about America's problems and we're all selfish, lazy people?

Like I had in my long list there of the positive qualities, not all Americans are negligent about global and nationwide issues. We acknowledge many things around the world that other countries don't. No, we can't save every life in Africa or feed every homeless person in the ghettos of the Philippines, but that's because we have limited resources to do so.

Just as people have said, every country can improve their standings. What are you expecting, here? To live in a "perfect" country according to your standards? Every damned country will have their imperfections, and that goes for the people residing in that country, as well.

Thats not what I was saying. Maybe I should've been more clear. I was simply saying that just because we're rich doesn't mean we're great. It doesn't make us nice and it doesn't make us hard working [alothough apparently we are since we're rich.] I'm not looking for a perfect country and I don't have one to compare it too in my head. I just usually see the bad instead of the good. Sorry thats just the kind of person I am.

I still don't see how that has to do with feeling neglected unless those people blame their country and if they do thats really stupid.

i duno who said that being rich made us great, nice, and hardworking. not me. although i think we are all of those things. that still doesn't explain why u don't really like america. if u usually see the bad instead of the good though, i think u better stay in america. there's a whole lot worse to see.

I basically stated why I hate Americans. Greedy, the way they act-everything, you name it. yeah, i understand there's a lot of similarities in countries (especially the greedy thing in a lot of the richer ones) but there's also a lot of differences. maybe i shouldn't say i'm racist against americans...? i'm just implying i don't like how the majority of the american teens act, let alone some adults.
as for the age thing...wtf are you talking about? yeah, my age impacts a lot of things, but not my opinions. i've [according to almost all people i've met] always been a little mature for my age. i've had the same opinions for years, although sometimes there are little changes, such as i learn more facts and apply them more often. and the only time i watch TV is to watch the news. although personally, i think half of the stuff they feed to us is just over exagerated crap. it's all trends. i watch ABC (good morning america) in the morning, although it's usually only for 5 minutes a time maybe 3-6 times. i also always watch the 6:00 and 10:00 news on KRCG (local station).
yeah, we all fall into fads every now and then-i'm not going to deny that. but how is "teens hating america" a fad...? i really don't see how that's a fad at all. personally, i've never met/talked to anybody racist against america. i think the fad with a lot of teens is "emo", which hating people in general just goes along with it.

There are people who care but there are many others who don't.
I think more Americans are ignorant and we take everything for granted.. that's why so many other countries hate us.
We've lost tons of allies.. and everyday we increase our debt because Bush has been one of the worst presidents of our country.
The leader of our country has done nothing but kill people for no reason. So.. I don't hate america but I hate it's administration today. Let's hope for a better term with the new candidates.

people are greedy all over the world, i don't think a country exists where there isn't greedy people. it doesn't matter if they are rich or not. i think everyone's age effects their opinions at least a little. uhhh, i've never met anyone who considered american to be a race. so i don't find it surprising that u don't hear a lot of people saying they are racist against america. that statement doesn't even make sense to me, but who knows.

yeah i mean, in my opinion u still haven't given a reason that u don't like america. u've just said u don't like greed ( which all countries have) and u've said u don't like some of the people here. i still don't see how that justifies disliking america more than any other country. u aren't naming anything exclusive to america.

That or try to do something about it.

Steven your stupidity amazes me, and i'm really not that smart, in comparison to anyone else anyway. civil rights, religous orders, poloticians involve a lot of "bitching or moaning" and actually take a lot of action for change. the point is that people who complain about america often do make changes. if people had bitched and moaned more about hitler for example we wouldnt have that whole mess.

my initial statement has everything to do with this topic, you honestly have to be retarded not to see that.. retarded people are people too, but they are retarded after all

I don't hate America, I think it could be run better, but I am grateful for the freedoms I have.

There are a lot of rude-dumb-ass-close-minded-inbred-hicks where I live but I haven't been many place so I can't say I hate Americans, either.

When I am more worldly and cultured I will decide whether or not I hate America.

I know I definitely want to raise my children in another country.

My dream place would be France. Their education system is so much better than ours. All I want is to give my children the best life they can have, and I don't think they can get that here.
