Time for a more sensible topic..
I know some people get offended when I say "Merry Christmas" and they get pissy and tell me to say "Happy Holidays" instead because they're Jewish, not Catholic. I find it pretty annoying, but nonetheless, I still respect their religious views.

Do you say "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays"?

@ the people who get offended by Merry Christmas. Go f**k yourselves. It's our country, and it's a national holiday. We're not trying to convert you. We're not trying to say our religion is better. We're celebrating our holiday in our country.

That being said, I say Merry Christmas.

I haven't ran into someone who gets offended by Merry Christmas. Then again, I never really say it.

Lowes changed their Christmas Trees to Holiday Trees. People got pissed. They made a public apology and changed it back to Christmas. gg

I say both. If someone says Merry Christmas to me first, I'll say it right back. It's not a big deal that I don't celebrate it.

I'm usually never put in the position where I say this, hah. If I go somewhere and they say Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas I usually just say you too. I suppose I'd probably say Happy Holidays, since it would cover New Years, too.

I never say anything. A lot of people don't even deserve to hear it.

I remember last year, my local airport was put on blast for having up Christmas trees. I guess all it took was one stupid jewish person to ruin it.

Yeah same. I don't say it that often, but when I need to I say Merry Christmas, because I don't really live around anyone who'd be offended by it.

I don't believe in any religion; but I still say 'Merry Christmas' out of a sense of tradition I suppose.

And I refuse to pander to those politically correct lobbyists.

Well nsync sang 'Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays'.
I actually like using the term happy holidays, not 'cause i'm super liberal, but because i think it just sounds better. -shrug-.

I usually say Merry Christmas, but at work I say Happy Holidays or Season's Greetings...I guess my bosses don't want to leave anyone out.
