i closed the topics kc and yanlin posted in the resource forum fairly quickly because they were talking about it in cbc. i was about to warn them and put them on mod preview for two days each, but holly beat me and put them on mod preview for two weeks. two weeks is a little long, IMO, but i dont see how i was "watching out" for them if i was going to warn them and delete their posts. they knew if they posted them, that i would warn them - i told them as much. its not like i can hold a gun to their heads and say "dont post porn" before theyve even done it. especially in cbc.
to clarify, kc said he was gonna post some porn spam. and maybe it was wrong for me to do, but i did tell him to post it in the RC if he really was going to so i could close them and warn him. i didnt see any other mods on at the time, and holly wasnt online at the time either. its not like he was going to NOT post porn just cuz i told him not to. i just decided to make the situation easier for myself. edit:// im going to close this. yanlin was taken off mod preview and shes still an OM right now. I dont think shes coming back right now though so if you would like to say good bye to her, please send her a pm or comment her preview. if anyone else has a problem with how i chose to deal with the situation, feel free to PM me. |
