there's a lot of bullshit in this thread.

here is a chart for age of consent in the u.s. as stated above, it doesn't matter if it's 'consensual' or not; by law, minors are unable to legally consent to the act, therefore it is still understood as coerced.

the age of consent laws deal with sexual intimacy. an adult can have a legal platonic relationship with a minor.

nguoicasison, in your case, maturity definitely does not come with age. you're a true example of why these laws are enforced in the first place; to protect innocent minors from breeding with dumbasses like yourself.

I personally think that if you're over 18 and dating someone whos like 13 or something, then its wrong.
Just like my teachers 31 dating a 17 year old =_=;
THATS bad. ermm.gif

here's one for you guys! esp. since i don't want to make a thread.

the new manager at my workplace is twenty-four; he's been working here since saturday. after my friends pulled a prank on him - wrote him a love letter and said it was from me - he wrote me a letter with his phone number saying that we should go out.

i'm 16. and horrified.
this has happened before, except with a former manager who was 19 - who was actually a possibility, but that was while he was going out with another coworker and yaddayaddayadda, who cares... work policy about dating managers is pretty nonexistent.

if i do go out with him, it'll start shit. if i don't, it'll start shit, i might get in trouble.

should i quit or get him fired? he's been with the company since he was 15.

i'm leaning towards quitting.
