Hiding the Extended Network, without leaving the box behind?? Options

Hello all!

I tried the codes in the scripts section to hide my extended network box. It takes away any content in the box, but still leaves the border to the box it was in behind, and it's really small.

Is there a way to get rid of the box all together?

I'm starting to think that it's something in my actual layout style sheet itself...like you said in the coding. Here's what I had in my about me section before i tried that code you gave me. Oh, and I did try erasing the picture in extended network i have and then using the code you gave me...still no dice.

Yes, it is conflicting scripts in your coding. This takes away your Extended Network banner, but because the script you're using defines the banner and tables in the same piece of code your red borders won't show either. Depends whether or not you like this, let me know what you think first:

Ok the original reason i wanted to take it out was because i actually had a banner made up, but for some reason the extended network box was bigger than my picture. I had it set for the right size of the picture, but there was a margin on all four sides of the banner. is there a way to fix that. if so, then i can fix that and put the red borders back on?

If not, I'll stick with what you've done to it.

Also, if i have to keep it without the borders, is there a way to slide the blog box up to cover up the empty space?

Y'know, I think it would be easier if I just coded what you wanted into your layout from scratch. I'm not a fan of manipulating generated code!

There ya go. I made the graphics all myself, but unfortunately I suck at doing coding lol. If you can get the basic done for me, I'll go back in and find whatever extra scripts needed on here...like the ones i have for hiding those extra sections etc. Thanks again =)
