Creation or Evolution?, Which do you believe in? Options

I believe both theories of creation and evolution is extremely faulty because of the lack of evidence and the constant rebuttles between the two sides.

What do you think?

OK...im a full Christian gurl n i believe God created the universe..n there r parts of evolution that i find totally wrong...but sume parts r possibly true...in the Bible God never says HOW He created the Universe...therefore He could have created it through evolution...ok so now ur going but He said it took 6 days n on the 7th day He rested...we dunno what one day equals to God...we may measure time differantly than Him...we think we measure it differantly thean ppl in the old times..so that is very possible...so i believe parts of evolution...i think the univere was created through evolution

Well....i have my own beleifs.....no nothing with god...i personally do not believe that one super being made me from a pile of dirt and some girl from my rib...um no ill pass on that thanx...but i do believe that the Universe is much older then we think it may be...I believe that at one time there was a planet out there some place in the universe that exploded or was destroyed or something....its remains then eventually got to earth.....now it has been proven that life and sustain it self in zero gravity and zero oxygen...although only microscopic in size.....but that is where evolution takes it turn....once a part of another plant reachs earth....it can grow and evolve to its new environment.....over time evolving into what we have now......Now for those of you that are not imaginative.....that is only a possiblity....but i have watched a show on the theory of evolution and how it all may have started....yes i have no life out side of my computer and football season...but ne ways.....with the right mixture of base elements found in the atmosphere we still live in today you can make life.....all you need to add is a source of energy....once again it is all around us....and a constant on the earth's surface.....Lightening.....Lightening created our Ozone layer that protects us today from UV radiation from the Sun.....back on track....Some scientist took what was the original elements found in the earths atmosphere and placed them in a air-tight glass globe....also goin into the globe was 2 electric probes.....they sent a charge causeing a spark every 10 mins or soo for so many days.....after opening the globe....scientist studied the carbon left from the electric sparks....no all life is carbon based....after studies the scientist found that simple single celled organisms had developed in the arit tigh globe....the same globe that was only filled with elements and no live matter.....so in conclusion it proved that evolution is much more tangable then Religious....journalism as i call it....so yeah i believe in what is tangable and can be proven.....not "Faith"

yes it did say in the bible how God created the universe-- he SPOKE the words and it happened.. and it was all GOOD. u knoe that hes able to do that, rite??

Hmmm no offence really but i have never felt "god" or seen a miracle......i watched my grandpa die for 13 years.....the only miracle he got was a peaceful death and i dont call that a miracle...i call it cruelity....would let an animal suffer for weeks let alone months and think its a miracle when he passes on...no...i dont see ne "God" i dont feel ne "God".....if there was one....maybe my grandfather would be alive....if there was one you think 9/11 would have happen....Yeah i felt "God" the when i cried at my friends funeral i felt the pain he caused....I felt the pain he caused at my grandpas funeral.....yeah i feel "God"

Jeez u people its not registering is it.....Viruses are living because they reproduce and contain DNA.....yes i kno it doesnt make sence....but they are...and because they only carry out reproduction is the only reason they are living...that is y the CELL THOERY IS ONLY A THOERY AND NOT A LAW....they are an exception....like a platipus being a mammal...only because has fur and is warm blooded...its an exception....and for all you that say that my bacteria comment made no sence if you paid attention in Bio...then you would kno that those classes of bacteria have no Nucleus....there are exceptions in the world...oh and people read the publish year of your text books before referring to them...mine was just published last summer....and as for knoledge on viruses...its slim because they where only discovered in the 60's when electron microscope was invented...so the only virus scientist have seen is a dead one

We're not stupid--- viruses have to perform more processes than that to be living. They can't even reproduce on their own. They have no response, they only float around for movement, they don't "grow", they can't heal themselves, viruses don't have organelles--- therefore, they are not organized. And viruses are not classified in the Eu/ArchaeBacteria Kingdom. They are not in a kingdom becuase they cannot self replicate, therefore they are not living (quote "University of Maryland, BSCI Undergrad. Plat Bio. Lecture Notes")

I believe that god created this world. However, I do believe in the theory of "survival of the fittest" and that in a sense people and organisms have evolved to adapt their environment.
I don't believe it went as far as us coming from apes tho.

ARE YOU PEOPLE IGNORANT we never evolved from MONKEYS OR APES....we both came from a common ansestor.....we where at one time the same as monkeys but the species became separated somehow and the one of the groups went on to evolve into what is not the Great apes. Although the other group continued to evolve there motor skills and intelligents that group became us humans.....So NO we did not come from apes but we do have a common ansestor with them....GET IT STRAIGHT!!!

However i must say this: the bible is written very metaphorically, and sometimes cannot be read so liberally. I don't believe that adam and eve were recognizable as "humans" to us, they were actually a much more primative ancestor. however, we evolved, and retained the title of "man."

ditto that. to be human is to choose. yeah i don't think anyone can fully decipher the bible because it was written so metaphorically, not literally. the bible like a poem because poems are hard to understand fully unless your the author!

Come on guys! Didn't you pay any attention in Life Science? Every animal is so close with other animals! (When I say animal I'm including humans.) You can have both. Do you think anyone would have listened if God told the people writing the Bible about evolution? They would have blamed it on wine or something, so he gave them something they could understnad- the theory of Creation.

Evolution is all around us. But God couldn't tell people writing the Bible that. Which is why I believe that he gave us the message in a story form, like was done with most of the Bible. When the Bible was written the people didn't have any idea about evolution, cells, or biology in general, so explaining evolution to them would make no sense.
