i have my heart set on getting a 21-inch flat panel computer monitor for christmas.
![]() the only problem is, i'm not exactly the richest kid ever. i don't exactly trust e-bay, especially the things i've looked it-it's not convincing enough. it has to be under or at $300, and with built in speakers. so...the point. any recommendations? all are appreciated. :] scratch that! actually don't completely-recommendations still amazingly appreciated. now...what would be the best monitor to get? like, brand, screen size...i really don't want any smaller than 20 inches, so i was thinking maybe 22? i'm having major problems finding decent priced 21-inches. so...your opinion? recommendations appreciated, of course. |

I would suggest this 19" monitor from ACER. You can also get free shipping with the promo code I have included. \
MONITOR: PRICE: $169.99 You will need speakers. Getting speakers included with your monitor isn't good enough. Monitor speakers suck. If you're budget is $300 then I would suggest getting these. This stereo has recently went on sale at buy.com. It's a great system. Originally it went for $400 dollars. Now they are selling it for $100. SPEAKERS: PRICE: $99.99 You'll probably need an adapter, so pick up a Y splitter with it. SPLITTER: PRICE: $6.99 TOTAL: $276.97 With this setup, you'll be more than happy with your sound system and monitor. This sound system will be able to rock your house, and your monitor will be big enough, bright enough, and have a high enough resolution. I had my aunt purchase this monitor, and she's extremely happy with it. Believe me, you'll be happy. ;] |

I don't know, I could look for a 20 inch, but it's tough to find a decent one for under 250. I would rather reap the benfits of a nice stereo. opinions-good deals? i'm not too worried about the appearence, as long as it's not WAY off. :] http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7754608 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5334272 |

Also, 8ms response time is terrible. You will notice blurring. it's a very bad monitor... -_- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16824009108 ^one more inch for you The stereo is only 25 watts. That's horrible. You're not going to recieve quality sound from that. The one I told you to buy was 600 watts and it was only 60 dollars more. Buying the cheapest thing you can get your hands on isn't going to get you the biggest bang for your buck. If you're that bend on saving money check out logitechs system its much better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16836121126 The items you chose, they are both terrible. You would have been very dissatisfied with your purchase. -_- |
