i just got this outfit tonight for winter ball at school, it's this formal and it's next saturday-

ignore my stupid face..but anyway. i bought a pair of red earrings, do you think that would be red overkill? and should i paint my nails red or would that definitely be red overkill? or should i paint them black! and what about my toenails, black or just clear? and should i straighten or curl my hair? muchos gracias. biggrin.gif

^^ wow pinch.gif

I think your outfit is nice. Anymore red would be overkill... you don't want to be too "theme-y". Since it's a formal maybe you should put your hair up into a loose bun or curl it.

Agreed^ Curls would look cute and go perfectly with the dress, but don't go with the red earrings. I think adding anymore red would make it tacky.

I don't think you should go too overboard on the red. Two red things and one grey thing looks fine. If you think the earings go with the dress better wear them, or if you like the necklace better were that.

I think you would look much better if the dress were just a bit tighter. And yeah, curl your hair :)

I think Angie meant, for the dress to be high up to your head, where it covers your face ;D Damn, why are you so mean Angie!

do not wear red with that.the bright red clashes with the soft blue.

if you're keeping the dress, go with white jewerly. just wrong

I like the pop of red with the shoe, but honestly, the matchiness of the shoes and the necklace is already overkill to me. All your other accessories, I think, can be more subdued.

If you're going to "pop" a colour, stick with one accessory. Earrings AND red toes is going to kill it, really.

I love that dress.
Hmm, not sure about the red necklace and earings though.
I would of gone with something a bit more subtle.
Cute though. I would of gotten that dress also.

By the way, the shoes... WIZARD OF OZ! Haha. So chic.

well still, the red over powers the color of the dress and so does the chunky necklace. maybe try more subtle and smaller jewelry since the dress already has beading

I like the shoes. In my opinion, since the dress already as some beading, maybe you should find something along that line of style for your jewelry. The necklace doesn't fit too well.

^ Exactly. The shoes looks good with the dress, just pick some more delicate, less chunky jewelry.

yeah.. the colors don't match at all. it just seems really pale. like your skin plus the red? not good. pick a different dress if you want to wear the shoes and not look like a fool.

the dress doesn't match your complexion to start with. i know it's a picture and probably looks different in person, but do you want to look like a vomiting dog when you find pictures of yourself at winter ball in someone's photo album? you look silly in such a glossy red; it makes your feet look sickly.

put your hair loosely up and wear something that doesn't look washed out.

I agree with Jeanna, the red doesn't match your dress at all. I like Jenny's idea a lot better.
