So my assignment for my college advertising class is to redesign a book cover and I chose the book wicked (great book, but the cover sucks). This is what I have for the front so far.

edit: ok so the front cover is officially finished, except for the text. I started on the back part. It's just the start of the hair so far. Certain parts look strange and blocky because I haven't gone in and erased the spaces out yet. The red lines are just marks for where the spine will be, they won't actually be printed.

So yeah.

I like it. You will put transition layers, right? x]

Ugh, I was just about to say that maybe just one transition layer in between the shapes might make the fluidity of the shapes a bit smoother, but Mark already mentioned it.

I like it. I don't really know much about Wicked, so I can't say if it'll reflect the story well or not, but the vexel in itself looks pretty good. :)
