Okay so my 16th birthday is in May (I know I have awhile..) But I was wondering, how many of you had an actual sweet 16 party? I was thinking about having a pretty big party with my friend whos birthday is the day after mine.

So what I'd like to know is:
How many people did you invite?

How much did it all cost? (You don't have to share this unless you'd like to, I'm not trying to be rude)

What forms of entertainment did you have at the party?

Did you go to a party planner?

Any other things that I need to know would be greatly appreciated! Showing pictures would be great as well if you'd like.

Thanks:)

I feel like this would be better exposed in the lounge, so I'll move it for you. wink.gif

Moved to the Lounge.

Alot of the people on here have had their sweet 16s, I believe.

A friend of mine had a pretty fun one. She invited the whole world, rented a room and pretty much grabbed a DJ and had a party. It was pretty fun.

But it really depends on what kind of party you plan on haaving if you guys just want to rent a place etc you might not need a planner for that unless you're going all out.

There are so many Sweet 16 party topics o_O Did you by chance check the other ones we have?

I didn't have anything big and special. I don't find it necessary and a big waste of money. I rather just have the money that it would take to have the party and go buy something I could actually use o_O But I just had like 3 friends over and we just hanged out and watched lifetime and played the WII and watched other movies. One of my guy friends broke up with his girlfriend on my phone >_> and uh we even had a pinata! xD

Well I ended up having a big, fancy sweet 16 instead of a debut (big 18th birthday party that Filipina girls usually have) because of my late birthday and blah blah...so yeh. I had about...80 people I think? It was in some big hall place and lots of fun.

Can't remember but...a decent amount. =p

Um. A DJ for the dancefloor after dinner, haha. Oh, yeah it was a dinner and dance party btw.

Nope. Just me and my parents.

Same.. I Did Nothing Cause Of Exams

But One Of My Best Friend's Sweet Sixteen Is Super!

She Invites Almost Everyone From School.. And Theres About More Than 300,000 Person At My School Lols And It Didnt Cost Much As My Boyfriend Is A Perfessional Lighting And Sounds Person So He Did It For Her Party For Free And People Bring Their Own Drinks And Stuff..

But Yehh Don't Invite Too Many People Really.. They Will Trash Your Party

I sort of had a party for my 16th birthday. I didn't really want to have one, though, so it was also for James' being in town/leaving and the end of summer. But it really wasn't a "sweet sixteen"; we ended up playing with my sisters' toys, mainly...the pictures are pretty horrifying/entertaining still.

LOL I was home alone on my 16th birthday. I burned my finger on a toaster oven and I got written up at work. My mom made me a cake, though.
