I'm online at work. Someone strap me down before I do something stupid.

Okay so seriously, my boss is out of the office for the entire week of Thanksgiving, so as long as the work gets done, I'm free to do whatever. The e-mails took maybe five minutes to get through, and the phone hasn't rang all morning, so here I am!

I've had jobs in the past (everyone remembers the shoe store) where I could literally just sit on the internet the entire time, and then I've had jobs where there was just too much work to do and I couldn't get away with anything or it'd be obvious that my time wasn't spent wisely. I was wondering how many of you guys have had complete blow-off jobs like this one where you get paid for almost doing nothing. xD

Lucky. D: There's a camera right on the ceiling where I work so I can't stand there doing nothing. There's always something I can do. D:

My job is kind of a catch 22. I work for one of the biggest investment firms in the world so usually the phones ring, but I am always watching youtube anyway, so i guess you can say I'm never all that busy.

I work at my school, so it's pretty laid-back. No dress code, no real rules other than no food or drink, and all I have to do is make sure all the e-mails for help requests are answered/resolved, and be respectful and patient on the phone. :P

I'm at work right now. It's not completely a blow-off job, but there are times when I am free to go on myspace, facebook, or cb. It helps when my boss isn't at the office.

OMG, I got business cards! Yay. I feel so cool.

I'm a farm kid, so when I'm working there's no computer near. Plus I work outside, so either I'm really hot in the summer or freezing my ass off in the winter. It SUCKS. Getting a regular job, as long as it's indoors, will be so much better.

I'm a swim instructor, so I kind of have to be busy. Most people would consider it pretty wrong if you let their kid drown.

Then again... shifty.gif
