Yup.
Well, I was on vacation this past week, and I just happened to pick up a copy of The Academy Is's CD. I'd heard a song or two by them on pureVolume and I liked them, but their CD is just... amazing. I don't know why, but I'm so addicted to them now. "Checkmarks", "Classifieds", and "Season" are on Purevolume from their CD. I highly recommend those. "Down And Out" is my favorite on the CD, if you can listen to it. Anyone else here a fan?  ...I want to rape them. Shhhh.  OH! I just found the song Slow Down that wasn't listen on Purevolume. This, again, is another one of my favorites. LISTEN TO IT! You will be pleased. |

ive been meaning to pick up their cd but i haven't gotten around to it. what attracted me to them the most was william beckett's voice.
 i like slow down and their single off the new cd, the phrase that pays. and the remix of black mambo on the snakes on a plane soundtrack is pretty good.oh well. i like 'em enough to submit a myspace layout of 'em. |

These people are so good, I had to bump this topic. I LOVE the song "Slow Down" and I'm listening to some of their new songs right now.

Ahh, I saw them a year or two ago with Amber Pacific, AAR and Rooney for a friend's birthday. I got their band tshirt, and it is still my favorite band tshirt I own.

I don't like the new album.
"Almost Here" was the album that made them one of my all time favorites. But then "Santi" killed it. Btw William Beckett is a daddy now. He used to be hot as hell but idk now not so much. I think it's his hair. He just had to go ahead and cut it. |
