when i go to the kitchen late at night, i try act really calm going back to my bed, but half way back i always flip out and run the rest of the way

I do that too!

I always feel uneasy when I'm walking down to my friends basement by myself.
And I always check behind the shower curtain, too.

lol i do that too.
and sometimes, when i feel really paranoid, i just run all the way. >_<

i'm always scared that there's someone on the other side of the curtains while i'm showering. I think I'd hear the door open. So I had to get the curtains changed to clear ones and now I feel a lot more secure. :D But still, when I duck down my head to rinse my hair, I have to look up like every second 'cause I swear I hear the door open. D:

When I shower I am always scared to close my eyes when I am rinsing my hair. I am scared someone will pop out at me.
Whenever I was younger and I'd walk into the bathroom I'd have to pull back the shower curtian and check to make sure that there was no one there. When I was really little I had a bad dream that some guy was sitting in there waiting to kill me. I was a strange kid.

I don't really do weird things like that anymore, besides the fact that I run up my stairs rather than walk. Someday I'll trip and fall and break something. LOL. Dee tumbling down the stairs hitting her ass on each step. laugh.gif

I usually shower with my eyes closed, because I'm so tired when I wake up, ha.

I do the running thing allll the time, I just cant walk it. But I find it worse to run cause it makes my eyes see things that arent there like a quick flash of light or something. Makes me even more scared than I originally was.
Plus, it may sound stupid but I can't sleep when it's dark. But only if it's pitch black dark and I cant see anything - that's when I can't take it. I can't stand not being able to see anything. I HAVE to put my TV on.. cause that's just the right amount of light basically.

I hate taking out the trash at night. It's not that I live in a bad neighborhood, but... _unsure.gif I don't know, I always think that there's a possibility of someone being out there, waiting.

Also whenever I go into my room, I ALWAYS have to look up at the ceiling to check if there's a scorpion up there. There have been a couple of times in the past when they've been up there so it's a habit now to check. :-/

I totally have the rituals thing going too:
1. I have to always shower the right side of my body first and then the left.
2. I have to get dressed in a certain order and I will not put on pants or shorts without having socks on.
3. I always sleep with socks on at night for fear that something will eat my toes.
4. Whenever I shoot dice I always lick the tips of my fingers and windup and shoot like I am a baseball pitcher.

I think I've done most of these at one time or another.
I can't be in a room with mirrors with the lights out because of the whole Bloody Mary thing.
I have to sleep with the door opened too cause I always have this feeling something's watching me and I don't want to be stuck with it.

I can't stand taking a shower or bath when everyone in the house is sleeping. Because sometimes it seems like someone is always standing on the other side of the shower doors. I hate that. When I wake up and start going downstairs, I always feel the need to run the rest of the way down because it's like something is behind me. Then I do the same thing as I'm leaving one of the other rooms to go back upstairs. I also don't like windows when it's really late at night and dark inside the house. I always think that I'm going to look at one of the windows and find someone or something standing there watching me. I also have that fear of not being able to stand by my bed in the dark because I'm afraid something will grab my ankle or foot. I don't like my feel dangling off of beds either. Plus when I cover myself up at night, I have to have the blanket wraped around me tightly, especially my feet. All because I think that a hand or something will reach up under the blanket and grab one of my feet if the blanket isn't wraped tightly around them.

When I was little, I had a fear of dolls. Like those little baby dolls. Their eyes always freaked me out. As for closets... Closets have never bothered me and still don't bother me. Mine has no door or anything on it and that never seems to make me paranoid or scared.

1. I do the checking behind the curtain thing when I go to the bathroom, too. I'm always afraid there's a murderer in there.

2. I can't stand the house being quiet. When I'm sleeping, its ok...but when I'm home alone I always have the TV going or something.

3.I always close the shutters downstairs when it's dark out, because I think people will stare at me from outside.

4.my really weird one is that because I have really bizarre dreams at night, I always hallucinate and see things that arn't really there, so Ihave to get up, grab a golf club or something, and search the entire house for killers.

I do that too but I don't run, I just speed walk the rest of the way back to my room. First, I'm afraid someone is coming after me, and second, I don't want to wake my dad up.

I always get these weird fear/habits after I watch a scary movie. After awhile I stop doing it. Also I can't walk down the street alone at night, because I'm afraid a drive-by is going to happen, and someone is going to grab me and rape me.

I do the same thing! I also can't look out windows at night because I think someone's going to pop up in the darkness.

When I am on the subway, I always sit in the first car because I am scared that a monster is going to come and attack us from the last car.

haha I do that! And when I use to have my older bed (one that you can put stuff under) I would always jump in bed because I always had the fear someone was under my bed and where going to grab my ankles or cut the back of my foot.

When we first moved in to the place I live now, in the first room I was in our crazy next door neighbor use to bring his dog over to our house and would look in my window. Eventually I finally moved in to another room and I guess he moved away o_O

When I'm at other peoples houses, I always check behind shower curtains. I've always been paranoid about that, or I was going to look behind it and there was going to be a dead person in the bathtub >_>

I always check the ceeling before I go into my room. Ever since "When A Stranger Calls", I almost ALWAYS check.

See, before I was so scared of things, but now reading this topic, its opened my eyes to the possibilites and now I'm going to start doing some of the stuff you guys do too. >_>

Oh yeah, and I'm always afraid someone's going to murder me in my sleep, but I feel so safe if i have blankets surounding me or something. It's weird, but idk. lol >_<
