Personally, all the cops I've run into have been bastards to me for no good reason. And I really do try to be polite, but they're so damn haughty. Half the time they pull me over because they don't think I'm a student and I'm using a student metro card (I don't know if you guys know about the whole student metro card thing, but if you're a student attending a NYC school and you need to travel by bus or train, you get a free metrocard) and they just give me a hard time even after I've produce my student ID.

what i notice is that people who don't find anything wrong with cops are the ones who has never gotten in trouble or treated wrong or is too young.

I don't like the way the police irrationally enforce laws. For example, on the day of a football game when everyone is running around with alcohol, does it make any sense to let them be and to instead track people down for drinking in their dorm? Really, we could be preventing DUIs or people from getting raped, but of course it's sooooo much more important to go try to arrest people from drinking underage while not bothering anyone. Also, arresting people for marijuana possession is ridiculous. It shouldn't be illegal, and it's a complete waste of everyone's time and money to carry on this absurd "war on drugs."

I mean hey, I don't exactly thing we shouldn't have them or anything, and I appreciated the one who didn't give me a ticket after I got in an accident, but in general it seems as though they'll go out of their way to catch anyone breaking even petties laws. The cops around here are ticket jaywalkers. I mean really. If I didn't jaywalk every possible opportunity, I'd never make it to any classes.

I like real cops more than mall rent-a-cops and security guards at places like Sheetz. Almost all of them are retarded and mean.
But I make fun of them a lot, which makes me happy.

Okay this is bit of a catch 22. I guess I can't say I totally hate them but some of the cops in my hometown like to throw their weight around and think they are right while everyone is wrong and that I hate. I mean without cops and authority the world would be mad (not that is isn't already) but hey we could just go killing each other without punishment if we wanted to and that wouldn't be good. I won't disagree that the justice system were I live is somewhat of a joke though. I mean people who steal things so small like chocolate bars get harsher sentences then attempted murderers. Something there is totally f**ked up. Im not saying stealing is right but it isn't taking someones life or attempting. So thats what I think of the justice system and cops at least were I live.

In Chicago theres a statistic that says out of the 10,000 complaints they get only 2 cops get punished.

Well then let him pull you over. I think cops are supposed to have a number of vehicles pulled over in a month. Doesn't phase me, If you're not doing anything bad then whats the big deal.

You cant just IGNORE A COP??!?!?!?!?!?! They have a quota so what the pigs like to do is pull a brotha or chica over and make up some bullshit that they were speeding or something to ticket them.Its disgusting where i lived it was always happening.The city of Lombard has nothing but f**king undercover cops doing 60 mph just to give a day time curfew ticket to some kid ditching. A lot of those mother f**kers ended up getting fired for endangering the lives of innocent bystanders to finish his quota up for the month.

I'm extremely anti cop because they half of the timea good majority of cops arent doing the "serve and protect" part of the job.they are going around trying to make a quick buck or 2.Thats how it was for me when i was in high school I worried more about getting pulled over for no reason then to get to my job on time or something else.
