i 5* all medium on GH2 and 5* a couple on GH2 Hard. I canNOT say the same for GH3, sadly.

Is it just me or does it feel slightly faster on GH3 (Medium and Hard)? I can't even beat Lou on Medium, lmao. Damn his double notes and Reverse. Gets me every time :[ And Lou is much worse on hard. =_=" As I've heard.

Queen - get on XBL. XBL FTW! LMAO we lost Metallica's "One" on Medium Co-Op. And check this - after failing it, it said 99% completed. My bf and I were pissed.

Steven - Yea well, we already have a Wii and a 360, but we got it on 360. And I repeat, XBL ftw. I don't like the look of the wiimote on the les paul controller. Looks.. tacky. Plus, ours is black. Black > white! tongue.gif

Lou on hard = WTFBBQ. He always flips my notes around, then makes them expert, double, or invisible. Whammy is the easiest thing to beat lol. Also Lou never misses a note (Even when you use something on him) and he always gets the first attack.

Ours is black and white too :)
Wii internet = free too, beat that?

O RLY? as in the free interwebz? Didn't know. YAH WELL... PSSH. (you will this round, foo)

Getting Super Smash Brothers when it comes out, amirite? Did you vote L-Block? I say "? Block" > L Block > Cloud, Snake, Link (I think it was)

Lol. Yeah I'm getting SSBB the day it's released. Got Guitar Hero III the day it was released. Wii internetz = free for sure. Even has opera web browser built in, which pwns the hell out of the ps3 one. Anyways, I am quite content with my wii :)

Screw PS3. It's practically a Blu-ray player right now. Yea we got GH3 when it was released.

Yea well you know what? Graphics on 360 > Graphics on Wii ph34r.gif

Yea, I just said it.

God I love Guitar Hero II.
And now the third installment of the serious is even better!
Couldn't have come out at a better time either!
I had started and finished (beat all songs on all difficulties) Guitar Hero II in the 2-3 weeks right before the third was released. haha
So I was able to jump straight from 2 to 3 without a hiccup _smile.gif
But ya, I noticed that Guitar Hero III seems a lot more forgiving on hammer on's & pull off's than the second game.

lmao I'm still playing on Hard on GH2 and on medium on GH3. And I've been playing since the end of September, but I haven't practiced enough. >_<" If only I had better hand-eye coordination.

GH3 is more forgiving, but also moves considerably faster it seems. I've gotten used to the speed so when I move back to GH2 it's awkward for me =\

What are your shifting techniques for Hard/Expert? Getting from GRYB to RYBO, that is. I tend to just keep my fingers on GRYB and when necessary, shift down for my pink to hit O, and then go back up... It's not working out as great as I hoped (damn those white circles, damn them!). =X

I don't think I could ever strum up and down. pinch.gif

I keep on the first four, but when I get the notes that are doing more of a red-orange, I make red my new starting point and use those four. Certain songs like Sweet Child of Mine where there's a green one only once and a while in the opening riff, I just stretch my pointing finger to tap the green.

haha i can't strum up and down regularly to save my life.

i can if it's just a long stream of repetitive notes.. but as soon as i have to pause for a note, i screw up

but ya, i put all fingers in GRYB, and if an orange note comes, I move them all to RYBO and keep playing there till I need to move back down for Green.

what advantages are there if you get to stick the wiimote into the guitar?

I beat Medium last weekend, but I'm trying to learn how to strum up and down properly so that I can get more than 72% on "Through the Fire and Flames." >.<

I've got it, have lots of fun with it.

I'm up to tier 7 on expert, but I'm still stuck on Lou on hard.

After the 235th time he beat me I ragequit.

Seriously, I only have a chance to hurt him if his first powerup is whammy or broken string. But he usually gets lefty flip or, god forbid, double notes, which f**ks me up completely, causes me to swear profusely then miss my next powerup.

But I just managed to do Through The Fire And Flames on Hard, so I'm pretty proud of myself for that :)

Hopefully get farther soon.

Man I need to buy that game and get better, all I can do is kick some serious ass on easy mode on the Demo at Wal-Mart, I really wanna play it, the song lineup for this one is the best yet.
