So on the ninth it will be 3 months since my mom died.
well..about a month and a half ago i was getting on the computer and i
saw a yahoos singles thing. I thought it was just a pop up,

I got to reading turns out my dad made an account.
My feelings got so mixed up i was pissed but then i felt..

like there was nothing i could do about it.

my dad told me before my mom died that he would never re marry or find someone else.

so...why's he looking?
and he's actually like...e mailing them.

maybe it's just for sex.but i mean...do you have to go on yahoo singles to look for sex?

do you think it's actually fair? he lost the love of his life and you really think he won't try and find one again? it gets lonely. i was mad at my dad in the beginning for dating again but what if you had to never look again?
i wouldn't say he's not mourning but he'll be a lot lonelier now.

except him to be dating for a long time even marrying.

I figured i would. but not 2 months after she died. i mean they renewed there wedding vows in May. and he lies to me. He leaves me to watch my little brother while he goes to austin to visit and has coffee with these women. i don't know. Guess i just needed to vent about it because there is really no solution.

Im sure he's just lonely. I dont think he's seriously looking for someone else. Besides, no one could replace your mum, and I'm sure he's well aware of that.

People do it for fun. Not remarrying doesn't mean he's not dating.

The truth of it is that there really isn't anything you can do about it. Your dad might have said that he'd never remarry if your mom died, but the sincerity of those words can change as time moves on. He's allowed to try to move on and date; it's better that he doesn't mourn your mom forever. But I think three months is a little too soon to be dating again.

Three months? That's awfully soon.
I don't blame you for being upset, but you have to realize that your father has "needs" and feelings also; Maybe a woman in his life is exactly what he needs?

If you're not comfortable with him dating again, especially since it's so soon, you should talk to him about it.

I agree. Try talking to him about it and tell him how it makes you feel. Maybe he will tell you something that would further help you understand why he's doing that.

You selfish little brat. Your dad's a f**king person too. Saying that he doesn't want to remarry is probably a natural reaction after your spouse dies. But hey, he's a trooper if he can get back into his game after that. Applaude him, why don't you.

Wow, that's pretty f**ked up. If I were in your shoes, I'll make life miserable for him by making him feel guilty.
