I have very acne prone skin. I have to try so hard to keep my skin semi clear. What is as good moisturizer to use? Every night before i go to bed i put some benzoyl peroxide on my face and it leaves it feeling kinda dry and itchy.

You can't keep running from what you're trying to find.

Try oil free moisturizers. Good skincare brands in my experience are Neutrogena, St. Ives, Biore, and Clearasil.

Benzoyl peroxide might be too strong to use daily. Just use it on really serious spots. A substitute that's less harsh is salycilic (sp?) acid gel.

Cetaphil's a good brand for dry and sensative skin. Aveenos good too, it won't clog your pores. I've (luckily) never had much of an issue with acne, so I probably won't give the best advice.

if you're concerned about shiny or oily looking skin, powder is your friend.

clinique, clearasil, biore, aveeno, DEFINITELY neutrogena!... i haven't personally tried cetaphil, and someone told me it wasn't as good as everyone says, but .. it's not that expensive :|

I know for me I have to wear oil free moisturizer or else I'll break out. i put moisturizer on at night and in the morning after I've washed my face. I tend to use it more in the fall, winter, and spring b/c it gets very dry during these seasons and my face looks like I just got in from the snow. Talk about a white christmas.

Astringent works wonders. Especially for acne. Sure it stings like hell, but damn does it work.

I'm not terribly acne prone; only when I get really stressed out. That's when my breakouts are the worst.

It works really well without clogging your pores, so this might be the best choice for you.
