i saw a topic about weird dreams and i figured we should have a dream thread.
share your dreams-whether they be weird, awesome, or just down right effing psycho.

one of my many most memorable dreams is one i had a lot when i was little. basically people were floating in the sky...and you had to take somebody up there with you and you could get certain people down under certain circumstances...i can't remember a lot of the details. i haven't had the dream in months. it was friggin crazy though-people actually mentioned therapy to figure it out. *shrug*

another is kind of a dream...i have this "memory" of walking downstairs in the middle of the night just randomly and standing at the bottom step and i could see demon eyes. i was obviously too scared to scream or turn around and walk away or anything. i don't even remember what happened-it's all left off at the bottom step. i've asked my mom about it a few times because it really bothers me for some reason-once she just gave me this really worried look like she was hiding something. about a year-ish ago i asked her again and she said i actually used to do that when i was 10-11. she also said that i'd been having that dream since i was in like 1st grade.

Wow, that's pretty creepy that they're reoccuring. In Psychology I did a project on dream and came across a lot of websites that talked about symbols of dreams.

My dreams are usually bad, which is why I'm glad that I don't remember them. I have dreams of people dying and stuff, it's pretty creepy. The only time it scares me is if I have a dream about someone I know dying.

One time I had this really funny dream after I got off the phone with my friend. I ended up dreaming about him (I think it was just because I talked to him and then went straight to bed) and I dreamt that we were hitchhiking and then got kicked off a bus in the middle of the desert and there was a movie set. He went into the make-up trailer and sabotaged the make-up, so when this girl came out she had a green face and he was sitting up on a prop laughing and said "hey look and oompa loompa".

It was weird.

I have nothing but weird dream. When I get back from my weekend, I will have to share some of them. I need to sleep soon.

i read that sleeping on your back can make your dream crazy. i do sleep on my back and take all kinds of pills so i get a lot of dreams.
i use dream site or i just google it and more opinions will come up.
A LOT of my dreams concern me running/being chased or hiding from things. which isn't a good thing lol. it's never by some weird creature or red like eyes you talked about though.

one of the worst dreams ive had kinda recently was that my dad died or i couldn't find him and i woke up crying. i never ever cried from a dream before. it was horrible.

of course a big part of something is because you're thinking about it right before bed but the whole weird setting and plots that connect to that.

That's when i woke up. It's was a weird dream. Is it true that dreams usually mean something? _unsure.gif

"To see an airplane in your dream, indicates that you will overcome your obstacles and rise above to a new level of prominence and status. You may experience a higher consciousness, new-found freedom and greater awareness."

"To dream that you are chasing someone, signifies that you are attempting to overcome a difficult goal or task. You may also be expressing some aggressive feelings toward others."

"To dream that you are being chased, signifies that you are avoiding a situation that you do not think is conquerable. It is often a metaphor for some form of insecurity."

im guessing it must be about relationships and your thoughts on it

I don't really remember dreams I have. Although I always have this reoccuring dream with my sister and this guy that is her uncle. And where driving and hes trying to kill us or something and he jumps out of the car and I'm driving and my sister is usually buckled up in the backseat and somehow he fall off a cliff and into water and I always have to save her or we'll both die.

I've had those since I was a little kid.

"Car Accident
To dream of a car accident, symbolizes your emotional state. You may be harboring deep anxieties and fears. Are you "driving" yourself too hard? This dream may tell you to slow down before you hit disaster. You need to rethink or re-plan your course of actions and set yourself on a better path."

"To dream that you are in a car crash, indicates that your beliefs, lifestyle, or goals are clashing with another's. It may also represent a shocking situation or painful experience."

"To dream that you are riding in an automobile, signifies that even in pleasant situations, you will still be restless and uneasy.

To dream that you nearly escape from the impact of an automobile, denotes that you will successfully overcome any rivalry. "

"Consider how smooth or rough the car ride is. Whether you are driving the car or a passenger, is indicative of of your active role or passive role in your life. If you are in the backseat of the car, then it indicates that you are putting yourself down and are allowing others to take over. This may be a result of low self-esteem or low self-confidence. Overall, this dream symbol is an indication of your dependence and degree of control you have on your life."

I used to, almost every night, dream about my mum and myself being chased out of the house by a psycho with a knife. But every night it would have a different ending, and be in a different setting. Whenever I tell people about that they say it has significant meaning or something blink.gif

When I was 6 - 7 I used to have this major recurring dream of me being lost at a train station near my home. I was there and no one else was, it was dark so I'm guessing quite late at night. Then I'd get on a train with no one else on it, and inside the train it was really well lit. Very bright white lights. I remember there'd be ominous music coming from the trains radio, and I would stare outside the windows even though I saw nothing but pitch black darkness..

"Train
To see a train in your dream, represents conformity and go along with what everyone else is doing. You have the need to do things in an orderly and sequential manner. In particular, if you see a freight train, then it refers to the burdens and problems that you are hauling around.

To dream that you are on a train, is symbolic of your life's journey and suggests that you are on the right track in life and headed for the right direction. Alternatively, you have a tendency to worry needlessly over a situation that will prove to work out in the end..

To dream that you are the engineer, signifies that you are in complete control of a particular situation in your waking life.

To dream that you miss a train, denotes missed opportunities or nearly escaping your death. "

I had a dream one time that I was running through the woods in a big princess dress. It was weird. I kept having that same dream night after night and it didn't expand at all. it just kept repeating. weird isn't it?

"To see or wear a dress in your dream, represents a feminine outlook or feminine perspective on a situation. You are freely expressing your femininity.

To dream that you are wearing a white dress, suggests that you want to appear pure and angelic toward others.

Princess
To dream that you are a princess, indicates that you are recognizing your full potential. You still need to grow more and develop your full character. Alternatively, you may be too demanding and perhaps acting like a spoiled brat. "

"To dream that you are lost in the woods, indicates that you are starting a new phase in your life. You are expressing some anxiety about leaving behind the familiar and what you know."

"To dream that you are running alone, signifies that you will advance to a higher position and surpass your friends in the race for wealth. Alternatively, you may be running from some situation or from temptation"

I used to have a recurring dream about being trapped in a burning barn/building of some sort, when I was really young, like three or four.

So because of that, I think I died in a fire in my life before this one...well I don't think, I KNOW.

Don't flame me for saying that. lol.

I quite often have dreams that come partially true in weird ways. Even the last two nights I've had dreams that kind of came true. Sunday night, I had a dream that a kind-of friend of mine was in an albino club, and I wanted to join, so I pretended to be albino. Lol. And then yesterday, she put up that layout from here that says "everyone loves a white gurl."

And then last night I had a dream that I used a public restroom at the grocery store, and the toilet bowl was all clogged up. And today, I used a public restroom at school, and the sink was clogged up, which rarely happens, surprisingly.

I just get weird things like that all the time, and individually they just seem like bizarre coincidences...but if that happens like 3 - 5 times a week, that seems kind of weird to me. I also don't always remember my dreams in detail first thing in the morning. But when one comes semi-true in a weird way, it comes flooding back to me.

I also used to be really good at making myself become conscious during dreams, but I haven't tried it in a while. It's fun though if you can do it. :D
