I think it matters what kind of tatoos they have. I mean if their really neat and something I would ever think of putting on myself then I would think oh how totally awesome! Although if it is something disturbing and something I think is completely stupid that someone would ever want to put on themselves then I kind of think well that was their choice to do something like that shrug.gif

I personally don't see anything wrong with them, I'm not going to look down on someone for having them.

depends on the person and their reasons for having tattoos. some people do it just to be "cool" or fit in or whatever and their ink has no significant personal meaning behind them. i hate when people just pick something off the wall or get lame generic shit like a tribal or nautical star just because it's trendy...

my tatts are very symbolic of who i am and my experiences and beliefs. when people get tatts as a means of self expression and/or as reminders of of their past or life experiences or whatever, then I see nothing wrong with that. i'm intrigued by people with unique tattoos and often ask the meaning/history behind them. you'll find that some tatted up folks have quite interesting stories to tell. :)

although i don't have a tattoo of my own, i find them absolutely intriging. my father has a giant heart tattooed on his ankle with a green ribbon wrapped around it, and it has my name and my sister's name on the ribbon. he also has a pin-up girl customized to look like my mother on the inside of his leg.

i think that tattoos are a great form of self expression. the way i see it, it's their body, they're the ones that have to live with it, so let them do as they please. =]

i'm actually considering getting one.

LOL, yes I know. idk if thats what that girl was talking about when she said "lower back", but I'm pretty sure that is what Jeanna was talking about.
