alright, so if you're walking down the street & you see someone hella tattooed up; what is your first reaction?
examples; "omg totally awesome!!" "they're so brave, i'd never be able to do that!" "they are such an idiot! it's PERMANENT!" "AH! scary!" i dunno, what do you think? i personally am amazed & completely admire them. |

to express themselves perhaps? to have something important to them always with them? i don't know. tattoos are usually pretty meaningful & you could learn a lot about a person.

i know it can be meaningful. Some just wants to get it for no reason, other than the fact that they can.

if you dont have them like on your arms where they can be visible, cool. but if youre showcasing them don't be surprised if people look at you differently. i think tats nowadays are HILARIOUSLY pathetic. really? a gun or words from an emo song will mean anything when you're 40? k

Dude ... your font size. OMG it's permanent or OMG that's ugly. Too much tattoo is disgusting. changed. sorry. & i guess too many tattoos can be kind of over the top at times, but there still are plenty that are extremely intricate & well thought out. [i'm not saying you're wrong in any way, i'm aware it is your own opinion.] |

But even that could be a 'coming of age, look what i can do' thing that could mean something to the person. |

Depends on what they're doing with their life, where they have it, and how much of it they have.

Nah, it just seems like that person has low self esteem to me. I think tats, especially on women, look awful. It is permanent and there's nothing worse than seeing an old guy with 'LIVE FAST' stamped across his knuckles. There's a chap that comes into my store with something similar on his hands. The tat has dulled and the skin wrinkled so much that I can't even make out what the original was about. Ick, no.

I hate how people are looked at differently now because they have ink on their body or a piercing.

Usually, in a situation like that, depending on the person, I'll stop them and ask what their tattoos are, whats the meaning behind them, etc.
Tattoos interest me a lot, I love them. |

I hate how people are looked at differently now because they have ink on their body or a piercing. In my case, it's about how much ink they've got on their bodies. I'm pierced and I'm getting a tattoo when I can afford it. Random snake or whatever tattoos that crawls up the neck or round your body isn't quite goodlooking. |

I think it's sad that a lot of you guys don't like tattooed girls. Every tattooed girl I know has turned out to be pretty nice. Including me :)
I think "trend tattoos" are lame. The tramp stamps, belly button circles, barbed wire, tribal arm band, kanji, and hip tattoos are all dumb ideas. If you get a tattoo just because your best friend got one and you want to be cool, you are dumb. I plan on getting full sleeves after I get set up in my career. Until then, half sleeves, and tattoos everywhere else of course |
