I just ate a bowl of rice that I microwaved.
I ate the whole entire bowl.

I was putting the the bowl in my sink, when my fiance's mom said "I am cleaning the microwave".
She was using some kind of generic oxyclean. Maybe a little bleach.

I have tried googling it, but I can't come up with anything...
Is this going to make me sick? Should I go get my stomach pumped or something?

If you ate the whole entire bowl, I dont think thats good either. laugh.gif

If you feel fine, and you cant find anything on google, it might be fine.
Look on the bottles and call the number and ask them.
Or call your doctor.

Make a will. thumbsup.gif

I don't think it will be that big of a deal if you haven't collapsed yet, but I would call poison control just to be safe thumbsup.gif

Wait, I don't get it. You microwaved and ate the rice before your fiance's mom cleaned the microwave? Why would you get sick?

She had cleaner on the walls and top of the microwave while my rice was cooking. I didn't see it or smell it.

I don't know if the fumes and possible risk of it leaking into my food is dangerous.

Wait and see. If you feel crummy/sick later then see a doctor. Who knows you might not be fine. I think you'll be fine.

What kind was it? Look at the bottle and check to see what it says about it. If it doesn't say, call poison control and ask.

Ha ha ha.

Krnxswat, there is no need to be mean. biggrin.gif

I called poison control and they said I should be fine, but if I start feeling sick, or anything out of the norm I should go see a doctor.

So, I guess I will live. HOORAY!
