Note: not for the faint of heart.

Loved this movie, huge fan of Ellen Page, be sure to check out her new movie JUNO, featuring Michael Cera (from Superbad).

it was a fun watch. the dialogue is pretty interesting, and the visuals were soothing to the eye. i thought it was a relaxing movie, even during that scene. and ellen page made that character her own. good flick.

I agree some of the most intense moments, it didn't seem like a Thriller. It was a nice turn, but I can't say that I didn't know a twist was coming. Ellen Page is clearly one of the better young actresses in Hollywood, and yet is overlooked quite often. I find it interesting this movie came up for discussion now, because David Slade the director also directed "30 Days of Night" which debuts in theaters everywhere Oct. 19, 2007. (This Friday)

Gosh, I feel bad for guys that have watched this movie. Even I had to cross my legs during that scene.

As a guy, I don't feel bad at all. Yes it was painful to watch, and yes one reason is because I do enjoy Patrick Wilson as a Actor, but still the concept of that pedophile getting what he deserves was bliss. My friends little sister, was a victim of attempted kidnapped, by this guy who looked at her pictures on her myspace (innocent pictures, nothing risque at all, just pictures of her at school and such). He tried to kidnap her at the mall, but was unsuccessful because she was yelling and kicking and screaming, and the mall security apprehended him. Anyways long story short..justice was served in that movie, even though it was a Brutal justice.

and I don't think there is a 30 days of night section, as quite a few people most likely haven't even heard of it. I can't wait to see it. :)

I love how simple the production of this movie was. It was shot in like, 18 days, there only five actors, most of the movie was shot in one area, and the cinematography was awesome.

Ha ha, I felt for the dude in that scene.

i'd procrastinated watching this movie for some time - my roommate owns it... He even told me what a great movie it was.

I wish I hadn't procrastinated to see it, but i'm glad I finally got around to it.

Oh man, I remember this movie.

Me and Josh hadn't met yet and he saw this movie and was so scared I was going to end up like a crazy chick like that chick and castrate him or something laugh.gif I laughed so hard in that movie.

I felt really bad for a guy but he had it coming and it was deserved. I liked how simple the movie was as well...i didn't know any background stuff on it or that it only took like 18 days to shoot.

I'm going to bump this topic. I saw the movie last night. Great movie. I felt sorry for the guy, but oh wells. There are some theories. It's obvious she didn't castrate his balls, as when he got loosed he looked at his balls, and said "I'm all here". The pain he was feeling was more physiological, and it could also be the frostbite he had. He removed the clip, as it was also the pain he was feeling. The blood was fake, as if you look real carefully, it was actually jelly. The suicide scene at the end, there are many theories to it. As he was jumping off, Ellen said she would take care of everything, but when he jumps off, she said or maybe not. You could hear the sound of him hitting the ground, as he didn't actually die, he merely fell to the ground. He is confronted by Janelle, and your imagination is left there of what happened. Great movie overall. I recommend it.

What did you think of it Holly about the ending. I believe he survived and was confronted by Jenna. The rope was very long, and didn't bulge when he jumped, and you could hear the sound of him landing on the ground.
