Nah, I don't think so. I think most of that is just stereotypical. Girls are just as afraid of commitment as men.

Not every guy is.
I am VERY afraid of commitment. Whenever things are getting serious, I tend to take a step back. Which is why I haven't really been in a long term relationship. I'm not scared of getting hurt rather of getting bored. |

Yeah, it really is about the person involved.
I love the idea of commitment, as does my boyfriend. We're hoping to seal that after university. It might seem a bit cliched but I think that if you're with the right person, your soul mate, then doubt doesn't really enter into it much. |
