You know those people that are totally head over heels for people they've never even spoken to? Maybe not literally, but like, srsly don't even have the balls to start a conversation.

Are you one of them? And if you're not, are you like me, who cannot fathom how that's even possible? I mean really, if you've never spoken to them, how do you like them? :/

Hahaha yes, I know quite a few people like that. It kind of makes me laugh. Yup, I enjoy laughing at them.

i guess it's the same concept as a person having a crush on a celebrity they've never met. it's easy to fall in love with a person whose personality was created in one's head.

I was in some type of situation like that. There was this guy, a friend of a friend, who was like that. He liked me, but NEVER spoke to me in person. It was weird.. _unsure.gif

I felt bad for one of my guy friends who had a crush on this girl he never ever talked to. He liked her for over a year and my friends and I were always pushing him to talk to her. So finally he started to her in class and he got to know her and she turned out to be the opposite of what he thought.

^Honestly; good. for. him. In fact, I talked to a guy about a girl who he distantly crushed on, and I think he didn't want to talk to her in case she turned out away from his expectations.

Mmmhm. But, for the record, Daniel Radcliffe and I really are in love with each other.

Yeah, I was talking with my friend about this and she pointed out the celebrity thing - and while they're rly similar, I think part of the "ridiculousness" of the fact that they still like them despite the never talking thing is how very much I want to slap them across the face and be like GROW SOME BALLS ALREADY. Whereas with a celebrity, unless you want to risk a lawsuit, 'tis not as possible to strike a conversation.

Well, I can like, look at someone and envision what they would be like based on their looks -- what kind of interests they'd have, how they'd sound, what books they like, whatever. I guess you could keep on fantasizing for a while and fall in love with the character you've created but you'd be sorely disappointed when you finally talk to them.

No I'm not like that. Those people bug the hell out of me. They never talk to the person but are "OH SO IN LOVEEE!" with that person...how are you in love with someone that you do not know/doesn't love you back. To me you cannot be completly 100% in love unless you're getting loved in return. In my opinion...

if it's a celebrity, then it's alright. but if it's a real life crush, dang. especially if it's like "the last time i spoke to him was like in grade six when he asked me "do you know what time it is?", i'll always remember!". pathetic.

No I don't think I've ever liked someone I didn't talk to. I mean I don't really know how it would be possible, but I can defiantly remember it back in middle school and girls having crushes on people. Its just a faze everyone goes through I think..

Usually if I liked someone back in those days, your friends found out, they told the guy, and well he would start talking to you or you would start passing a note with the guy until you both had the guts to talk to each other XD

Shamefully I AM in this position .. and I hate it..
It's like time has frozen and it's gonna be stuck like this forever.
But I doubt that he's anything like I expect once I manage to start speaking to him.. always happens lol

Daydreaming. Sometimes people play out better in my head.
