Ear plugs Options

errmmm i think this is off topic to be in lounge..

but i have 3 step siblings who live on the floor above me and when they wake up for school at 6 am i get woken up also since they like to clearly walk around with cinder blocks on their feet.

i can't wear ear plugs really because they fall out when i wake up and i have an ear infection [i know, weird]. i've even resorted to taking a tylenol pm to try and sleep/drugged out sound. doesn't work!

am i doomed?

hmm... try ear muffs? >_< I live upstairs, so there's not much I can say for you, unless you want to spend the money to make your walls and ceiling sound-proof.

i do go to sleep with some relaxation music but i end up getting woken up by a random high beat or something so i rip them out. plus they would fall out too.

I'd probably go yell at them or something. I wake up at 6, and I feel bad for my mom, because she wakes up at 7:30 and I usually make more noise than I realize. Have you told them to try to keep it down?

i dont associate with them. if i went up and "talked" to them i'd blow a fuse most likely and my dad is too much of a p$%#% to say anything.

oh i have.

once i went nuts and thought that they were playing with the tv upstairs but i think it was really my fan making the noises that sounded like faint voices.

there must be a pair of earplugs out there that would fit your ear. i mean if all else fails, try every size of regular earphones without music. it works, i use it sometimes. and i know there's like a gazillion sizes for that.
