I am white but I hang around with azns n blacks n basically everyone (including whites too but not many) so I have been called a wigga, a wazn, and other things I cant remember. It doesnt bother me because Im used to it BUT every once in a while my black friends go overboard and really say too much. I hate being white honestly because it seems like no one will ever leave me alone for it! So my opinion is I dont mind the N word but it should only be used among friends otherwise it can start things among people and thats not good!

Oh gosh I hate it Especially when people say the "n" word. Heck, I'm even afraid of saying "black" to african-americans.. I dono I'm just like that.

Nah it doesn't really have an affect on me, unless they really mean it. It's disrespectful though, cause I wouldn't wanna be called something like that. It's not my fault being the race I am, which is asian. A lot of people say it at my school, in a joking manner, that is. They call it to their asian friends. I rarely see them call it to blacks. Just as long as it is not in an offensive way, it doesn't bug me as much.

Most of the asians that I know that use the 'n' word are usually just playing around.. It's not like.. for real.. It's just like 'What kneeeguuhh?!!' when their playing CS and talking on veeeent. But yeah.. Sometimes it gets annoying

I've been reading some posts here and for some reason people are equating ghetto=black. Being "ghetto" has to do with how you were raised and where you grew up and what you are used to. Not what race you are. Even tho some of you may not like people when they act "ghetto", sometimes it's all they know cuz that's how they grew up. And of course there are those cases where people just try to fake it.

Yeah, they sound pretty ignorant as would any other race, including even black folks, for using that word. It seems that people are just treating it as slang or as a "cool" word to call your friends but they obviously are not sensitive to the history and the real meaning of that word.

actually, scratch that--the word is messed up anyway, because its so bad if u go back to its origin: white slaveowners called their slaves that, or like racist white ppl called blacks that. im white, and some of my best friends r black, and i could never imagine myself calling them that, its just wrong, even if ur using it as a term for 'friend' so i agree with Ladii_D1809. shes totally right.
