so ive been single my whole life and its not really working out for me i guess.
im happy and all, but. im getting to think that im desperate, and that if anyone asks me out ill say yes. ive been asked out by 2 people my whole life and both were pot heads who were arrested last year.  im worried about getting way too desperate and getting myself hurt. what do i do? |

Lol, i feel bad for you. Well you are only 15. YOu aren't alone. Back when I was 15, I knew ALOT of people who never had a bf/gf. 15 is still a pretty young age. Don't worry about it. That special someone will be there. You just aren't looking hard enough.

Well, I'm 15 and the amazing boy im going out with right now is my 4th boyfriend.. I know a lottt of people in my grade who have never had a boyfriend/girlfriend so you definitely are not alone. No, seriously. Boys aren't everything. You should concentrate on things that will actually help you in the future. There will be a time for boys, and trust me, you're still young. Some people don't date until they get out of college. get over it. |

^She's only 15. She has plenty of time. My sister is 20 and hasn't had a boyfriend. She's not ugly, she's just not interested in a boyfriend at the moment.
I just feel that people have their priorities misplaced. I'm not mean! Just...yeah.

Look, you're only 15. Like everyone said, "Dating isn't a priority at your age." I can understand why you would want to date. It's fun, it's exciting, etc... but it really doesn't matter at this point in your life.

Your 15, go out and fun living life. Don't worry about relationships, one day in the future your going to find a guy that you like and will like you in return. Just give it time, don't stress over it and don't just say yes to anyone that asks you out. Use your brain and judgment carefully.

I have a lot of friends who are 15 or 16 and single... i've had about 16 or so girlfriends and none of them lasted more then a year... most were only a month or so, so it's not really a good thing to rush into you just end up wasting your time

HAHA. you're only 15 and you're worried about the fact that you've never had a boyfriend? boys are not the most important things world, nor are they close. vice versa.
I'm 18 and I've never had a boyfriend and I'm completely fine with it. Why? Because I don't have time in my life to have a boyfriend. Get busy with school and you won't have time for guys either. In fact, a lot of times, boyfriends/girlfriends are just unnecessary baggage when you're busy because you have to make time for them. It's better to be able to do things your own way than to have to compromise about a lot of things. For example, I can go out, drink and have fun without worrying about a boyfriend being unhappy about it. |

Ok, well i actually have something different to say in stead of everyone else. "You're only 15".
I know the feeling, wanting to be loved, wanted, cared for. But the truth is, hun, is that if you get too desperate then boys will ask you out but not for the right reasons and then you'd end up getting hurt. And it doesn't really matter if your 15, there's people out there that are 50 and they probably have never went on a date before. It's absolutley normal to want a boyfriend, doesn't everyone want to be cared for? Don't sweat it, the right boy will come soon =] |

I started dating when I was 16. I regretted it. It was a completely waste of my time.
Now I am 19, and is with a guy that I love. This time I don't regret anything. Take your time. Boys and dating isn't everything. They are but a small part of your life. |

Don't worry about it. I'm 15 too and I've only had one boyrfriend, which was last year, and it was a complete waste of time. Someone that deserves you will come around, just sit back and give it time.

I'm in agreement with pretty much everything said here. I'm 16 and have had 2 serious relationships. The first of which...not so great. Kinda felt like I didn't know enough about anything to really understand what I was trying to commit to. Thats not always the case, but really...at 15 you should be discovering your passions, enjoying life, talking to boys and sure even dating them if a decent one comes along, building up life skills that you'll need a lot sooner than you think. Just...being a kid. Don't rush into the dating stuff, it can be an amazing thing, but at this point just enjoy the freedom that you get as a young teenager and don't stress over the trivial stuff. And keep reminding yourself that there are lots of boys out there...one day the right one (for that time in your life) will come along. Until then, just wait it out and don't bother with it so much.
